He’s never been one to eat big meals. Being a former slave, he and his mother lived on meager meals. Even though larger quantities are now available to him, anything too large will make him sick. Because of this, he prefers his feeding tube in his suit, rather than eating by mouth.

Vader rarely feels true happiness. The only thing that does anymore, is piloting, whether it’s just practice, and working on droids and other technology, especially if one new piece has been giving him trouble and he finally gets it work again.
