Perspective: Selfish

What if selfish meant FORGIVING, because it sets ME free ? What if selfish meant SHARING, because it fills ME up with joy ? What if selfish meant GIVING, because seeing someone else happy makes ME happy ? What if selfish meant being KIND when it’s the hardest, because it will leave ME with peace ? What if selfish meant being GRATEFUL when things don’t go my way, because I AM undeserving in the first place? What if selfish meant being PATIENT, because there’s a greater purpose waiting for ME? What if selfish meant LOVING MYSELF enough to show others what love really means ? What if selfish meant letting MYSELF FEEL in order to heal? What if selfish meant LETTING GO and letting God ? If I did it in the name of being selfish would it be easier ?
