Reblogging this manually. Op doesn't want credit for fear of being terminated.
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Having a "stupider people have done this" attitude about the things you want to do can open so many doors
Hamza had a large family, including several young nieces and nephews. His brother and sister also suffer from a blood disorder, which makes a healthy diet very important.
In Gaza, food is still incredibly expensive and unstable, as well as medical supplies and housing expenses. When money is withdrawn or transferred, a lot of it is eaten up by fees. If you could help Hamzaâs family during this deeply awful time, theyâd be forever appreciative.

you'll feel like a total dipshit train wreck and no matter what some girl is gonna see you and think "role model". you can't kill yourself you have to go be clocky in the gas station so a 14 year old can have the trajectory of her life altered forever
as annoying as it is to work fast food, at my previous job one time a kid recognized the theta delta pin on my hat and was so fucking excited because i was the first other therian they had ever encountered offline.
"hey....are you a therian?" "yeah!" "what kind of animal?" "eh, some kinda dog" "đČđ im like a wolf coyote hybrid" "that's fuckin awesome"
to be weird is to cast lifelines all around you

what really drives me nuts is that like. this happens an average of x times per year as a visibly weird person, but we only get made aware of it a small fraction of the time. you can't kill yourself you have to be clocky in the gas station.
Being clocky when i was working as a barista was one of my big joys. Being clocky when i was teaching high schoolers how to play the marimba was my reason for being for half a decade. It sucks how scared I am to leave the house I live in now. But I still need to try and be clocky at the grocery store. I wish i had a job to be clocky at. Being visibly me is one of the most radical acts I'm capable of, and I hope that one day we live in a world where it isn't radical at all.
that's exactly what I was feeling when I wrote this. we all find ways to defy our fear, love is an excellent motivator.

Black nerds just wanna enjoy their hobbies without dealing with fuckers general antiblack behavior or just straight up being racist towards us for existing and minding our own business.that is literally it.
No black fan deserves to deal with fandoms and creators racist bs or to be painted as "toxic aggressive bullies" when they rightful criticize or get mad and disappointed bc of said creator antiblackness, YES even if it was an old incident or if it as "small" it don't matter it still racism and it deserves to get called out and criticized all the same

If u want to write a story about a character thatâs just you but hotter with a dark twisted backstory and magical powers and a pet falcon or something, I think u should just go ahead and do that. Whoâs gonna stop you? The government?? Fuck the police.
What if someone barges in, points at said character and scream, âMary Sue!â
Tell them to come back with a warrant
This post came across my dash again and now I am having an absolute blast with self insert hotter me that gets the girls and guys everywhere.

hey friends where is that picture of boromir with the gondor flag except its a pride flag?
Couldnât find it so I made another because youâre right that itâs a crime and itâs definitely my duty to remedy it
Consider this (based on a conversation I had with some friends a while ago): Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for people who actually like Pride and Prejudice. LookâI tried to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and I got about 20 pages in before I came to the conclusion that the person who wrote it did so out of the belief that the original Pride and Prejudice was stuffy and boring. There were out of character vulgar puns. And the trailer for the movie did not convince me that I had missed anything by cutting short my reading experience. So, what Iâm talking about here is this premise: the world of Pride and Prejudice, but if you die, itâs highly likely, almost certain that your corpse will get up and try to eat people. But no one dies in Pride and Prejudice, you might say. In fact, few or no people die in any Jane Austen novel. This is true. But people do get sick with some regularity. Imagine the tension added to Jane getting sick after going to visit Bingley if there was the chance that she would become a zombie after she died. Becoming a zombie in an eligible bachelorâs house probably would have seriously wrecked any chances of any of the living sisters ending up with him. Imagine Mr. Collins, as a minister, having the duty upon someoneâs death of severing their head with a ceremonial plate or something that would prevent the corpse from rising. Obviously important, but this only makes him more self-important and obnoxious. And dangerous. For you see, in this version, Mr. Bennett, who stays in his office all the time, whose life is the only thing allowing Mrs. Bennett and her daughters to stay in the houseâMr. Bennett is definitely a zombie. He died at home, and Mrs. Bennett decided that, no way were they dealing with this, and soâŠjust started faking it. Jane and Elizabeth know. The younger sisters donât. In this universe, I think we have to go with zombies that are not any faster or stronger than the humans they were, and in fact tend to get weaker as time passes because their flesh is rotting. AndâŠhmm, okay, how about they are pretty violent upon rising, and for about a week afterward, trying to bite people and spread the infection (even though most people are carriers anyway, but getting a nasty bite from a corpse will give you other stuff that will have you die while carrying the virus). But then they calm down and basically just start sort of attempting to act like they did in life, that is, taking habitual actions with no consciousness, in a depressing and desiccated way. So Mr. Bennett is a zombie, and Mrs. Bennettâs number one goal is to get her daughters married before anyone finds that out. And this, actually, makes Elizabethâs refusal of Mr. Collins more frustrating for Mrs. Bennettâobviously Mr. Bennett didnât tell Elizabeth that she could refuse Mr. Collins, because Mr. Bennett is dead, but Mrs. Bennett canât say anything or the game would be up. Another question in this versionâdoes Mr. Darcy find out about Mr. Bennett being a zombie somehow? Does Elizabeth find out that he knows and didnât say anything and this is something that helps repair his earlier actions? Anyway, this is the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies that I was looking for.
Okay also: in the original, when Elizabeth walks through the rain all the way to bingleyâs to care for Jane while sheâs sick, itâs a very dramatic expression of both Elizabethâs love for her sister and her penchant for flamboyant rebellion, but consider, if there is a chance Jane will wake up a zombie and Elizabeth knows it, how does that change the dynamic? Elizabeth might be going to help take care of Jane, or to *take care* of Jane should things take a more morbid turnâŠby killing her zombie sister.
This works especially well if zombieism is communicable prior to death; if mr. Bennett is a zombie and only the elder Bennetts know, that means Jane has been pre-exposed and is almost certain to wake up as a zombie should she die in the Bingleysâ careâ which the Bingleys do not know. Elizabeth has to forge through the rain to be there in case things get ugly, because she knows that the Bingleys arenât prepared.
And I think you pretty much HAVE to make Mr. Bennettâs zombie status play a role in how and why Darcy separates Bingley from Janeâthe heavy implication behind Darcyâs line about the want of propriety shown even by her father hits Elizabeth like a ton of bricks as she realizes he knowsâhe knows, and he thought Jane lying to Bingley about it was evidence that Jane didnât love Bingleyâbutâbut Darcy must not have told Bingley that part of it. Bingley couldnât keep a secret on his life; if he knew, his sister would know, and word would already be out and theyâd have been ruined by nowâ
And of course, not only does the fact that Darcy, who owes their family nothing, has kept and continues to keep this secret for them even after Elizabethâs refusal deepen the gratitude she begins to feel for him after the letter of explanation, but it also liberates Elizabeth to fall in love with him. Because Elizabeth-who-wants-to-marry-for-love would never be happy marrying someone who didnât know the family secret in advance. She had resigned herself to spinsterhood because she couldnât be satisfied with having to hoodwink someone to have their hand, but also couldnât put her family at risk by trusting someone who wasnât bound to them by more than an engagement. (Maybe she was even tempted to confide in Wickham at one point, and hasnât Darcyâs letter proven she was absolutely right not to yield to that passing thought.) But Darcy figured it out himself, and heâs kept her trust, and she could fall in love with him without guiltâif she hadnât already turned him down.
AND THEN LYDIA HAPPENS. And Darcy realizes immediately that Mr. Bennett canât do anything to recover herâand if Mr. Bennett doesnât do anything about Lydia, Mr. Collins might become suspicious, or even just officously involve himself, so find out the while thing. When Darcy blames himself for not revealing Wickhamâs character, itâs with a much more immediate sense of urgency. Itâs not that the other sistersâ marriage prospects being ruined may impoverish them down the roadâit might immediately drag them all into destitution. Thatâs why he rushes off to go look for Lydia himself.
Remember when Lil Nas X beautifully explored his sexuality, seduced and killed the devil to the banger of all time, and instead of cheering on this openly gay and proud Black artist for his artistry and fighting back against respectability politics, suddenly said respectability politics was all the Queerest Place on the Internet cared about? Hm. Wonder what happened there.
Anyway I miss him and hope he's doing better with his mental health đđŸ
Like say what you want about "bad queer representation", but this was the song that made me openly and happily accept that I was bisexual. To see him up there Black and beautiful, making music that I love, absolutely killing it? Yeah. You couldn't tell me shit. This man made me proud to be out. "This will make them think we're evil for being gay" hey newsflash dawg-
June is also menâs mental health month so Iâd like to drop in and say that mine is not so good. Itâs also Pride Month so Iâm going to be treating the problem with yaoi.
Which kind of works for me, in conjunction with 150 mg of Zoloft and roughly 20 mg of THC.
oh oh oh i just got a vision. im rolling around on the floor and going a little insane i need to share this with someone i'm yearning so badly you have no idea help me please why cant he be real
sylus slowly kissing his way up your neck, chuckling lowly when you involuntarily shiver and let out a little whimper.
he takes his sweet time getting up to your ear, his soft lips leaving a trail of heat in their wake. his warm breath brushes the delicate hairs there as he speaks.
"you gonna be good for me? hm?" he coos softly, pulling you closer, holding you steady in his lap as he gently scratches between your shoulder blades with one hand, the other rubbing circles at the base of your spine.
when you nod, he hums approvingly, pressing his lips to your pulse point. his voice is deeper when he speaks this time, rumbling through his chest into yours and sending your head spinning.
"good boy."
INCREDIBLY CONCERNING SPIKE IN ANTI-BLACKNESS IS HAPPENING RN.
Some of yall may have heard some of the shit that has been going on right now. I'm gonna give a quick run down of some of the stuff that has been happening. Note, this is not all, and it may never be all as much as I will try to update this.
(I am going to try and compile and briefly explain these as much as I can. There may be misinformation. Please inform me if I got something wrong.)
(This will also be updated with additional information and new topics added.)
1) Racist Chinese Dolls.
There are these dolls in China that are being called "Natasha" baby dolls. These dolls are not only very obvious caricatures of black people, but they are being advertised as a "stress relief" in which the people who buy these abuse it in various ways.
This links to a video of a compilation of the various "uses" of the doll. There are more in the replies of the tweet. (Another link to the same tweet just incase)
2) The Mocking, Abuse, and Dehumanization of Black Children.
Apart from the aforementioned doll, there are apparently people going around mocking, abusing, and dehumanizing black children.
Some people have compared black children to the doll.
Others have been going into African countries and have found ways to mock, abuse, and dehumanize black children for clout.
(Source 1 + Full Video) (Source 2)
There are more videos surfacing.
3) Black people are going missing.
Black people, especially children and teens have recently been going missing at an alarming rate. Some of these same people are turning up dead, deaths being ruled as "suicides."
While it generally unknown why many of these people are going missing, many suspect that their disappearances, deaths, and even lack of coverage is rooted in anti-blackness.
The following is a list of black people that have been reported missing as of recently. Please note that this is not a complete list (it may never be completed due to the fact that many of these disappearances will still occur as time passes) this may contain inaccurate information. Please inform me if that is the case.
By the time you see this, some of these people may have already been found either alive or deceased. This post will be updated overtime.
It is also heavily encouraged that you reblog this with more links to recent cases of missing black people if you are aware of any that arenât included on this list.
