s5 lamb and river dynamic gives me much to think about. I don’t think lamb pities river or is particularly self-introspective, but I do have to think s4 threw him for a loop subconsciously or more than he lets on. imagine being in his shoes for a second like okay I have been trying to get my delusional shithead employee to leave for forever, I never wanted him to join my workplace, I wish he would just fuck off. he’s an annoying nepo baby who I only still have to deal with because of his grandfather, and I hate his fucking grandfather. what’s that. oh you said if my stupid employee didn’t end up in this job where he works for me he would’ve been raised a child soldier in a death cult led by his father. oh and now im hearing his grandfather went against the best interests of the service, the only time I have ever heard of his grandfather doing something like this, and it was to buy him and his mother from his father. but his mother didn’t want him or might’ve brought him back to his cult leader father she was groomed by so his grandfather got him instead. that’s why his grandfather could fill his head with all that bullshit about what we do. my stupid idiot employee i’ve hated for being a nepo baby was essentially groomed into this life I willingly entered and grew to despise. okay. cool. and now his grandfather, this man who controlled me and made me do awful things I regret is losing his mind so I’ll never be able to get any kind of resolution from him. and I can’t even hurt him anymore even though I have the upper hand now because he won’t even fucking understand it anyway. however, i must not forget the most important thing here: my stupid idiot employee still fucking sucks at his job. a paint pot you say

ok so i love the trigun stampede/stargaze fight scenes sm but if I REALLY wanted to be picky the only thing I think could make them better is if they had better soundtracks to accompany them. like the camera movements and actions look so dynamic and choreographed that i feel like they should be syncing up to music??
