“Hahaha, I like your baby. He sounds like a true rebel. Although I would stop moving if I were you. Sounds like true fucking hell.”

“Same way as every baby. And then it kicks me.”
“Hahaha, I like your baby. He sounds like a true rebel. Although I would stop moving if I were you. Sounds like true fucking hell.”
“The baby” she said quietly, stroking her stomach.
“How can it wake up if it’s still in the stomach?”
“Maybe if I don’t move…he won’t wake up…”
“Who won’t wake up?”
“If they ever try to make you wear overalls I will personally help you burn them.” Cade said sincerely, a good friend at heart. “Why do you need to be on their good side? I don’t actually know about any wedding, but I love weddings! Who’s the happy couple? We should get them something, you know, in apology for the fact that we’re going to look better than them.”
Lorette laughed at Cade’s sincerity. “That is why I keep you around. Thank you.” She reached up to kiss him on the cheek. “You need to stop being so tall. Anyway, about the wedding. Long story short, Élise is in an arranged wedding and if want to be apart of it I have to behave. That means that if any camera is to see me I have too look like a good kid. Does that make sense?”
“Thanks.” He grinned, “I totally will, I’ll pay for everything, don’t you worry.” Noah chuckled, before shrugging slightly. “Fair enough, what about you? Do you have anyone on the side?”
“Good because I currently don’t know my back account balance. Anyway! Any specific club in mind?” Lorette asked while silly dancing. “Uh, no. Not anymore. Although it’s nice to have that option. You know?”
“Boobable? I– nuh uh, I do not sink so….”
“Voulez-vous que je parle français?”
“I do imagine if something extreme happened, I would’ve woken or someone would’ve thrown a bucket of ice water on me, to wake me. It only seemed fair. Thanks, but that’s not what the agency said, and so, I walked on out of their office with a snap of my fingers. Maybe someday, though if I had to be in the limelight, I’d rather work on something such as Top Gear. Halloween is a great holiday, all the pies.”
“Maybe. Although we’re all adults... Okay, we’ve all would have forgotten their was an adult in the room and it would all just be a true tragedy. You go gurl. You show them that you’re your own boss and you are flawless.” Lorette rolled her neck, laughing. “Top Gear? That boring show about cars? You would rather be in that? Okay then... Well there’s more to Halloween than just pie.”
“I should’ve, but I am a professor and I do have some responsibility for whatever could’ve happened to you all, if someone were to manage to break pass the charms set up for protection. Oh, I have definitely put it into consideration, but those crazy diets turned me away, couldn’t even go a day without digging into something on the no-no list. I think a drag queen may be pushing things a bit, perhaps for Halloween, though.”
“Um, you were asleep... I don’t know how much more responsible that is than locking yourself up in a office. Although if you thought staying in the main room was the right choice then go right ahead. Oh, Professor Carver, you don’t need a diet. I’m sure there’s a designer out there who will take you just the way you are. I can’t wait for Halloween then.”
“Button nose? Oh eh– dunno, there was a lot on my mocha,”
“Yeah. It’s very.. boop-able. Are you sure you don’t just drink it like a toddler?”
“If you call me Cece I would feel obligated to call you Lolo. Oh, you don’t have to pay– I mean, if you do, then next time it’ll be on me.”
"Oh, my God! You're a genius! How has no one ever thought to call me Lolo? You're my new favorite. I definitely have to buy you a latte. You deserve it. You don't even have to get me next time."
“I’ll be there, you can use me to piss your parents off.” Cade offered, grinning but he would totally attend. It’s about time Lorette realizes that he’d be perfectly happy with her tucked in his pocket all day. “Your parents would make you wear overalls? Are they sadists or something?” He asked, truly concerned for her safety.
Lorette laughed at Cade's offer. "As much as I would love to piss off my parents, I need to be on their good side. At least until this wedding is over." Lorette sighed out. "Yes. They would. They are sick minded individuals who like to make my life hell... You should go to the wedding. You do know about the wedding, right?"
“Hm? I mean– sure, if you’re up for that. You don’t have to, though, really. I’m Celia by the way.”
“It’s not big deal. I should probably be studying too... We’ll give it a shot. Coffee is on me! Nice to meet you. I’m Lorette. There’s not way to shorten it. I can call you Cece or Ia? or Cel?”
Tanner wiped his face with his hand. “D-did I get eet?”
“Yes. You did. No need to worry your button little nose. Question, how did you manage to get that much whip cream on your face?”
“Wh– it’s just how I cope, besides, I have a test soon.”
“Sorry if that sounded mean. Not my attention at all. It’s still really nerdy. You can’t deny that much. Do you need a latte to cheer you up too? It’ll help keep you up while you study too.”
Do I ‘ave somesing on my face? I just had coffee wiz whip cream so zat might be it, I– um– are you okay?
“No. No. I’m sorry it’s just- It’s not even that funny but I just can’t stop laughing!”
“Ah, right. I don’t doubt that you would be, I’ll have to take you drinking with me once day.” He grinned before frowning slightly, “Well that’s kinda shitty.”
“I still think you’re attractive but yeah... Anyway, you totally should. I can pay for one or two but technically you’re offering.” Lorette shrugged with a devilish grin. “Not really. He has someone on the side.”
Cade easily scooped her up in a hug, her feet probably dangling for a moment before he lets her down. “Missed you too, please don’t ever wear overalls or leave me again.”
Lorette giggled as Cade lifted her off the ground. “I promise not to go anywhere without you. You can even come to my family parties.” Lorette offered, partially joking. “Also, I can’t promise anything on those overalls. Who knows what my parents will make me wear.”
