My love for Pastry
It was an exhausting session creating this baby but I have enjoyed! A mix of sugar, gelatin, butter, glycerol + water created this much magic and I am in love. The kneading was a real struggle for this much fondant but we have learned a lot of techniques to guide us.
The entire class tried so hard to focus because being around cakes without eating them yet is a real challenge.

This section have actually gone through a lot and I am very proud of how bravely we have conquered the stuggles of being the future restaurateurs. Going through so much drama on a day-to-day basis, multiple hand burns in the kitchen, the struggle of finding and buying unfamiliar herbs and ingredients, and yet smiling at our efforts at the end of the day is what motivates each of us to go on. After all, there is nothing a full stomach cannot fix.
Abundance of challenges might still be in front of us but there is nothing we cannot face together.
We, as individuals, don't have a lot in common but we definitely are all motivated and happy of what we are doing. Aja, hrm!
Gone
I closed my eyes and breathe in, heavy as fuck, and remembered every piece of you that I could possibly grab from the vast oblivion. I miss you. I actually thought we'd be forever, you know. We almost had it. But you were terrified of the idea of the real us while I, on the other hand, took you for granted. We almost made it, we were almost unstoppable, unbreakable.
Until everything ended right before anything could've happened. I will understand if you'd say it is my fault, I slipped out fast anyway- abrupt whilst you slipped out slowly, like a mud pool pulling me down and killing me in the slowest way possible.
But god, I have missed you. I have missed every idea of us that we've had, our laughter while pissing our neighbors off, climbing up the fence after curfew, midnight walks and stories, laying down on the middle of the street, stargazing- I miss them all. My memories of the past wouldn't have been so beautiful is it wasn't for you.
Before we part ways, I promised I'll be happy. How can I be when I lost everything I'd like to have? I lost you. I lost us. So if you ever come across this story, I just want to let you know that we did clicked. And if it might ever happen again, I'll do everything right.
Rose Apple Pastry
A daily reminder that things might get confusing and messy in the beginning but everything will eventually work out in the end.
Endings might even be sweeter than what we have expected.
Today I drank 5 cups of coffee, smoked half a pack of cigarettes, read a book about love and spoke to some friends
All of these distractions flooding my mind and yet here I am, wondering how much have we fucked up to end up like this
The City of Dasmariñas celebrates Paru-paro Festival every 26th of November. The theme of the yearly festival strongly depicts the city’s changes and improvements throughout the years. May the city continue to strive and unhesitatingly embrace changes just like the butterflies flying out to freedom and sunshine with air beneath its wings.
Aja!
