The KOSA/KIDS ACT vote will happen tomorrow on the 29th of June.
It will happen in the afternoon, (to quote the TikTok) when you wake up, call your house rep, then go about your day until the afternoon in which you should call your house rep again.
The KOSA/KIDS act will force people to send in their IDS to do basically anything, otherwise, for people who don’t send it in or minors, nearly everything would be censored, LGBTQ+, things trump doesn’t like, etc.
Maybe I’m lucky that I haven’t had too much time to look at II fanfictions because I haven’t personally seen anyone portraying Suitcase as weak or helpless but if this really is happening, then it baffles me that they’re still doing that.
The famous “Nickel, I voted for you tonight” scene already showed her assertive side and ability to stand up for herself, but fine okay some people might need more. But even after the finale? She literally found a way to kill Cobs, II’s main antagonist! If people really are still portraying Suitcase as weak and helpless, then what more does she have to do to prove that she’s capable and that she isn’t weak?
These are the 4 Humanizations I've previously made but recolored to match their Season 4 Assets. I've also made some other changes to them.
Some things I have to say about it, some more art, and proof under the cut.
Like I said, I made changes to the designs other than recoloring it to match Season 4 assets. Other recoloring changes include purposely making Marshmallow less pale, making Balloon's hair more ginger, and making Taco's hair more blonde. (Idk if I succeeded on that last one tho.)
I also removed Balloon's bandage because by the time of Season Four, a lot of time has passed since the time he deflated himself in Season Three. And with death being permanent in Season Four, he wouldn't risk dying trying to do that again.
I also changed the way I drew laces for Marshmallow and Nickels' shoes. Instead of just being lines, the laces are now thicker and outlined properly.
I also made other changes to Marshmallow, who was the first II contestant I drew. I added side bangs to frame her face better and fixed the anatomy error with her hands.
That's all I have to say about that drawing, but I have more drawings to post here. I also created drawings of Taco and Balloon in career outfits for their Season 4 jobs. Here's a drawing of Taco as a hostess and two drawings of Balloon dressed up as Suitcase while acting as her.
A couple of notes about these career outfit pictures:
Idc what the II wiki says, Taco is clearly a host at Reality Restaurant, not a server. A server doesn't greet people at the front of a restaurant & seat them, but a host does. So my inspiration for her career outfit is a restaurant host.
Also, Taco seems to have the most authority in the restaurant, so for now I can still dodge the issue of how to make uniform uniforms while still making it clear who is who. Since Taco has authority here, the uniform colors are the same as her object colors.
Taco keeps her MePad colored bow tie to honor him, which makes it fortunate that the restaurant host outfits I used as inspiration were all formal enough to support bow ties.
As for Balloon's career outfit, he's playing Suitcase in the play so he's literally just wearing my human Suitcase's outfit. I'll explain my reasoning behind that when I actually post my humanization of Suitcase.
I can explain why there are two images of Balloon's career outfit though. The initial screenshot I based this off had Balloon clearly backlit, so I wanted to try shading backlit for this image. This is actually the first time I've shaded an image with back lighting.
However, I knew the back lighting could mess up how my human Balloon looked due to the different shading patterns so I made a version with regular lighting so I could get a view of how he'd look dressed this way in normal lighting too.
Since this is my first time doing backlit shading, I'm fortunate it was for one of these reference pieces where I focus on doing the shading for the hair, skin, and some small accessories rather than the clothes. If it had been for a regular piece, I would have had to also shade the clothes in, which would have made it even more complicated.
I only made career outfits for Taco and Balloon because we don't know what job Marshmallow has yet and although we know Nickel works in the restaurant, we don't know what specific role he has as a job there.
We might assume Nickel is a cook because he was in the kitchen but I'd rather not have to redesign his career outfit later, so I'll wait for him being shown doing a specific restaurant job task or for official confirmation for his job.
Finally, although this isn't related to Season Four, I also created a drawing to demonstrate the similarities between my designs for the three main coins of BFDI and II.
I drew this because I wanted to show how similar I planned to have all three coins (especially the two Nickels) to look despite their different personalities. Only this much is shown because I don't have an outfit design for BFDI Nickel yet, and I might redo my Coiny outfit design.
Anyways, those are all the new drawings I have for now. These were all done on the Sketchbook app on my phone using my fingers.
I have seen someone say that it's not unreasonable to believe that Suitcase would forgive/make up with Nickel because "what would be the point of season 3 if she didn't" or something like that.
Now, I have not watched Inanimate Insanity Invitational in a hot minute but I don't think Nickel's arc was there so he and Suitcase could make up in the finale. I think he went through that arc to realize the hurt he has caused and start improving as a person. Balloon forgiving Nickel and becoming friends with him (as well as Clover becoming friends with him) helped Nickel motivate himself to improve as a person. (Though I could be wrong. Like I said, I haven't watched II3 since it ended.)
But my point is to say that, no. Nickel and Suitcase do not need to make up nor should they. Nickel hurt Suitcase in a lot of ways and bullied Balloon too. He was a huge jerk (sorry Knife) in season 2 and probably doesn't expect Suitcase to forgive him or even want to talk to him. He even acknowledges that they aren't on the best of terms in Season 4!
If you want to make an AU where Nickel and Suitcase make up, that's fine. But please remember that Nickel caused Suitcase a lot of anxiety and he purposely set her up for failure in Kick the Bucket. Suitcase literally said in season 4 episode 1 that "No one has the power to make you feel like you don't exist." Which could imply many characters, but the most likely suspect who made Suitcase feel that way is Nickel.
It's the same with Taco, Knife and Balloon. There are people you have hurt in your past who want absolutely nothing to do with you. Even if you say sorry a million times, they won't forgive you or want to associate with you. But that doesn't mean you don't improve yourself. And that also doesn't mean that you won't have others who care about you and want you to succeed and grow and change (Mic and Soap, Suitcase, Pickle and Mic, and Suitcase, Bot, and Nickel).
This is a recurring theme in Inanimate Insanity.
So, TLDR; Nickel doesn't require forgiveness from Suitcase for his arc to be meaningful and good.

I just want one fucking safe space where I don’t have to deal with ableism. Just one. But no not even my special interest space where I’m pretty sure most of us are neurodivergent is safe. I hate to make a post about politics and make people who just want to have fun worry more than they already are; and the admins have the right to not post this if they don’t want to.
But August, 13th is vastly approaching and with it bringing the YouTube AI age verification. This will affect a large number of fandom and neurodivergent folks and will absolutely do damage to the OSC as a whole.
Not only is the OSC home to many creators that are minors but I can absolutely see II and BFDI being tagged as kids content due to both being animated and interpreted by AI as being aimed at a younger audience. This means potentially watching episodes or being subscribed to their channels will cause the AI to ID you as a minor and block you from watching other content until you upload your ID or other information to Google (which i hope no one sees as a good thing).
It’s not just the OSC though, i believe many many other Indy animations will be targeted and marketed for being made for children.
This also includes the Screen act and Kosa. Both of which are trying to pass in the US.
Right now there is an in-browser website called glomble.com where BFDI seems to be reuploading their old content to (though it might be someone else). The site has some issues like not have a large amount of content and being slow but for now it’s seems like the best alternative to YouTube. I recommend giving it a try and maybe if the BFDIReuploder can get more traction we could get II and other OSC creators to upload there too! Don’t lose hope! and remember to go dark on the 13th until YouTube takes it down.

the fandom needs to knock it off with the “corn racism” bs. the characters aren’t racist. they mistook poppy for cobs. test tube is not a racist soccer mom. toilet is not a racist cop. most of the “corn racism” jokes are just people making actual racist jokes but with the slurs replaced with references to corn. this isn’t funny it’s just gross. knock it off.
I can finally post some of the questions I asked about Inanimate Insanity during the Meet and Greet now that Season 4 Episode 2 is out. I waited because they said something that I thought would be a spoiler because they said they’d change something in the YouTube upload but uh they didn’t (which is completely understandable considering how much time and effort they’re putting in each episode) so I guess the rest of it is fine to talk about.
So one of the things I asked was why Lightbulb was the only one blue-rayed at the start of the season, and I mentioned other fragile contestants like Balloon. Sam Thornbury said the creators only realized too late in production that Balloon should be blue-rayed but wasn’t. I don’t know about the other fragile contestants because only Balloon was mentioned in that answer. I was trying to ask about all the fragile contestants but I mentioned Balloon as an example since I was cosplaying Suitcase and I think that made my question less clear oops.
I also asked Adam about why none of the OSC seemed to try to reach out to the outside world and the non-MePhone generated people. He said they just never really thought about it because of how MePhone made them only to focus on the game. I just thought it was interesting that even when MePhone is out of their lives and they’re free of the game (well at least until Fan suggested starting it back up again), there are still remnants of the mental boundaries they were made with to keep them in the game.

I’ve finished my Balloon II humanization outfit timeline. More details under the cut.
So first I want to get out of the way that I know some people will ask why he's wearing a skirt. One, anyone can wear a skirt. Two, I think Balloon would wear a skirt. Three, the tail on Balloon's asset makes him look like he's wearing a skirt. Honestly, the idea of the outfit timeline for all the characters came from Balloon because I envisioned him dressing more masculine my in Season 1 and his outfit turning more feminine throughout the seasons. Idk but to me his behavior in Season 1, aside from being what he mistakenly thought he needed to do to win, kind of feels like toxic masculinity and him feeling the need to adhere to all of these stereotypes of masculinity. But as the seasons go on and he starts being more genuine, he feels more confident in his true self and his masculinity to be able to realize that he can still be a man without adhering to all those stereotypes or expressing himself in a gender conforming way. Well, that was my vision and interpretation of Balloon anyway. There are many possible ways to interpret Balloon's character and his relation to gender and this is merely my own.
By the way here are the initial sketches I made of Balloon as proof that this is my drawing. The proportions on my traditional art is off though because I can't put the asset next to it to compare. Sorry for the messy eraser lines, these were quick rough sketches
The reason why the first outfit isn't just for Season 1 but also early Season 2 is because he was homeless due to OJ not letting him into the hotel. I imagine his priorities were more so survival and proving he changed rather than getting new clothes. However, between Episodes 8 and 9 of Season 2, Suitcase hears that Balloon hasn't been able to get new clothes in a while. Although she isn't typically one who cares much about shopping, she takes him to a store and offers to help him pay for a new outfit. This is where he gets the new clothes for the second outfit. In addition, he loses the ponytail he previously used to tie his hair so Suitcase offered him a ribbon she wasn't using to tie his hair with. He keeps this ribbon from then on as a gift from his best friend.
Fun fact: I color picked the ribbon from Suitcase's yellow straps to further establish their bond with each other.
The daisy in his hair is also a gift from Suitcase. I chose a daisy for him because one of the things they symbolize is new beginnings, which fits Balloon's character arc of redemption and having to prove to others that he's changed from Season 1.
A few other notes about the design:
He's actually wearing the watch shown in the Season 3 outfit in all his outfits but they're usually covered by his long sleeves, which he pulls back when he wants to look at the watch. The watch is based on the one he wears in Theft and Battery and I tried to color pick from it.
Also, the blue band aid he's wearing on his cheek in the Post Season 3 outfit is supposed to reference the tape patching up the hole he has in The Great Bluish Bake Off. I put it in his post Season 3 outfit and not his Season 3 outfit because of how late in Season 3 it happened.

I’ve started drawing Inanimate Insanity humanizations, along with making outfit timelines for each of them.
Unlike other art I’ve done in the past, I’ve chosen not to shade most of the clothing here in order to make it easier for me to color pick from them if I want to draw these humanizations in the future.
I drew the outfit timeline for Marshmallow first, then Nickel, then Taco. It’s been a long time since I started the first drawing because I’ve been so busy that I can only afford to do one part at a time. It’s hard drawing on a phone with your fingers.
I talk more about the how I worked through figuring out what I want the humanizations look like here if anyone’s interested.
I’ll do more II humanizations in the future. I’m planning on doing Balloon next, but again, I’m pretty busy so it will take a long time.

Pin deserves screen time everywhere. Idk why BFDIA is an argument. She’s not gonna win it anyway because everyone thinks she’s mean there. But you would be too if you lost your face and got treated like nothing until the broadcasting company gave it back to you.
