And they get mad at me when I get up and leave to just suck it up and enter the classroom because no one was helping me. I’m not an equal to normal people. I will never be. “I love you even if you have autism! Don’t be afraid to be yourself!” Until we’re in public and I express basic happiness. I squeal, I stomp, I hit myself, I giggle, I hold my breath, I bite my lips, I jump up and down, I scratch myself, I flap my arms and hands around. You hit my arm and tell me I’m not being normal and I’m acting “crazy” and to calm down or you’ll take me back home. I’m not an animal to be kept in a cage. “You’re normal.” “You’re just really smart.” “You have superpowers!” Until I unmask and actually show my symptoms openly, and express my obvious needs for accommodation. Then I’m “special” or “troubled” or “impaired”. Normal people will never understand autistic people. We don’t get treated right and we don’t get treated like human. I am not denying that Tumblr has a banning problem at all, I don’t have any experience or knowledge about any of this. HOWEVER,

if I got a nickel for every time I saw someone post about how they got banned „for no reason“, went to their new blog and immediately saw something terf-y, racist, inter-, exor, or just regular sexist, homophobic, transphobic or any other horrible thing, I could genuinely buy myself a shitty car.

InsNe that dishwashers are more efficient and easier than just washing them manually but they also use less water. It’s a win win situation

Made this post about 15 minutes after the repair guy who fixed the pump on my dishwasher packed up his tools and left, as the dishwasher was whirring along doing my dishes from that morning.

He said the exact same thing, which I did not know before that, so spreading this knowledge.

I always hate when there is FINALLY some discourse happening around the (older or new) problems one group faces and then some douche comes along posting something like „ermm, it's actually been like this FOREVER for (insert minority/ group that was never once mentioned in public discourse), you just never cared about them“. Like… you managed to turn one of the most agreeable takes ever into something that makes you look like a dick. You can call attention to some problem without accusing anyone else of willfully ignoring it.

It also always leads to some concerning political preying. During some time where I felt particularly lonely, I tried to watch some YouTube videos just on how to even hold a basic conversation. I did this in an incognito tab, because I was embarrassed as hell about it. The thing is that, despite the channels being perfectly normal, even encouraging and supportive, that tabs recommendations would ALWAS fill up with Incel, Alt-Right or misogynistic crap.

Youtube algorithm specifically learned how to prey on lonely autistic/ akward people.

I didn't realise how much I missed doing this ;w; I love drawing in mspaint it's great ! And I'm so so proud of this one- it's the best thing I ever did in paint by far

And a speedraw to prove I really made it in paint/to see my process...ect...it's a bit of an eye strain tho so if you're sensitive be careful ! (Especially toward the end when I accidentaly zoomed in then got very confused because I couldn't find the zoom out option fjfjfk)

If you never tried (seriously) painting in mspaint, you should ! It's not as hard as a lot of people say it is, and it's a great exercise in painting (at least if you do it like me) :) it forces you to analyse the colors more because you can't color pick, you can't correct them with like hues or levels and you don't have special layers to help you. But it's still digital art so it's cheaper than to buy real paints and you don't have to mix them or worry about them drying ...ect... It's actually pretty close to my gouache process now that I think about it- but less annoying and hard and nerve wracking (when I was forced by art school to make gouache studies- terrible memories) And at the end you get a mix of digital painting and pixel art ! How fun

Also ! This is heavily based on a reference :) here is the little salmon I used for this !

PS : fur is still the worse thing to draw in mspaint
