Pizza Pizza |Colin & Dylan|
Colin looked up as the young man replied to his comment, then sat up straight. “Oh by all means” he said motioning his long arm to the seat across from him. The place was pretty busy and he didn’t mind the company. He had ordered a pizza that was large enough for the both of them so he thought he should offer. “If you haven’t ordered yet, I have a large supreme on the way, you’re welcome to it if you like.” As they sat at the table and waited for a waitress to show up, Colin decided that he wasn’t going to waste such a nice day. He definitely wouldn’t be going back to work after he was done here, but he could call and tell them that later. He took another quick sip of his drink. “Have we met before?” Colin couldn’t remember, it had been such a busy time for him that he hadn’t been paying much attention to the faces he had been seeing around town.
He couldn't explain why he was so relieved that the man had agreed to let him sit with him, but perhaps it was because he was subconsciously hoping that he could get some food out of the deal. It appeared that he was going to be lucky after all. He wanted to turn him down. He wanted to be able to say 'No thanks, I can get my own', but the reality was he was really fortunate to have run into the man. So instead he gave in and accepted, "Thanks man. That would be great." On top of that he realized that he had never even met this guy. "Um no, I don't think so. I'm Dylan." He stood up and reached across the table to extend his hand in greeting.Â
