Hi all, I really wrestled with myself over posting this but one of my very closest friends provided me with the wisdom, encouragement, and resolve to swallow my pride and ask for help again.

As some of you may know, I’ve been struggling financially for quite some time now. In recent months, my household has barely been able to make it paycheck to paycheck. Usually, we end up negative a couple days before payday and can overdraw (only on my account) a bit in the meantime, but currently, we are negative $100 in my bank account (which means I can’t overdraw any more) and only have $100 in my boyfriend’s bank account to make it to next Friday (which will not work because we have over $200 worth of bills due to hit in a couple of days as well as we’re currently running out of essential household items). On top of that, my cat has a cyst in her ear that just ruptured yesterday and definitely requires immediate medical attention to prevent it from becoming a major health issue for her. Both of us have been picking up tons of extra hours at work as we can, but my boyfriend is currently in a row with HR because his company has been paying him incorrectly and hours are getting more and more scarce at my job, so it’s just not enough, especially with our rent going up over $100 with our lease renewal last month. Without…something, I won’t even be able to afford to go to work to make the money to get us out of this predicament. It just feels like we’re just endlessly drowning all the time, and it’s getting so hard to stay afloat.

So this is me begging for a lifeline because I don’t see any other option. If anyone has absolutely anything to spare, I would appreciate it more than you can possibly know. I don’t know how much we need to keep our heads above water right now, but literally anything helps!!! And if you can’t donate, (which I completely understand bc times are mf tough out here) if you’d be able to just reblog or spread the word, that’s more than enough.

If you don’t do it for me, please, please, PLEASE do it for my cat, Priscilla. I raised her from a little palm sized puff ball, and have had her for ten years now. She is my absolute heart and soul, and it kills me to see her in any sort of pain.

Update!!! You all helped us get out of the negatives and make it to the next paycheck without going back in, and there are no words for how grateful I am for that. We would not have stayed afloat without your help.

Unfortunately, even with getting paid and the help we’ve already received, after bills and groceries, we still don’t have any additional funds for Priscilla’s vet care, and to make matters worse, we just discovered my man’s car was towed from our apartment complex on Friday for a flat tire we couldn’t afford to fix, so we will likely have to pay hundreds of dollars that we already don’t have to get it back (the tow company is closed for the weekend so we can’t even get an update till tomorrow). I genuinely don’t know what we’re going to do, but I know we can’t keep going on like this. The stress is quite literally killing me.

Bassinet Override Updated

the time has come. the moment is now

here’s a new override of the base game bassinet!

this is a re-worked mesh based on the old-fashioned crib i made for infants. you can pick from six different wood tones, but please note you can only have one override in your game at a time.

there is a non-default version of the bassinet as well (to be used with any invisible crib mod).

and just for giggles, i also made a default skin overlay for newborns, as after the patch they can inherit proper skintones now!

i have no ‘tou’ (because this is the internet and there are no actual rules), so feel free to edit/recolor anything and everything to your heart’s content.

Patch 1.96 Mod Status - Updates and New Mods

We all survived! Wooo! And I'm so excited to see everyone's adorbs little infants all over my feeds. Let's go. So... the good news is not as much broke as I anticipated. The bad news is... I still have a lot of updates for the patch/pack.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated mods: Below are some updates to accommodate patch changes and new features from the pack (confidence, infants, gameplay, etc). Compatible Mods: If a mod is not listed below, it should be compatible and fine to use with the most recent updated version of the game. New Mods: I also have four new mods I felt useful for the patch/pack.
