What else am I supposed to do

I love getting immersed in doing silly little activities for hours and forgetting about the ugliness of the world but then. I sometimes wish, I could just wander around like a beautiful maiden in a white dress, collect flowers from my garden, grow fruits make pickles and jams, bake all day, talk to no man, play my guitar in peace, talk to birds, write poems, create art, crochet, leave my hair open, drink wine, listen to music and dance in my little beautiful little cottage. But then I get snapped back to reality, a cruel consumerist world, full of ugliness. There's women and children dying in the name of honour killing, people being worked up to death just so that they can feed their family, families being deported, fascists starting war against each other. Then I realise, we are nothing but slaves to capitalism. How can I be happy when this is the world we live in?
