kiratteâ:
Euden, he claimed. That boy he met at the Star Trail had been more of a threat than Dune expected from a simple sword, but not necessarily a threat to him. âItâs good to see you again. I didnât know you could change your form. Is this the natural one, or the one that appears human?â He had reason to believe it could be either one, although he was more of an involuntary shapeshifter than not.Â
âUnfortunately, Iâm one of those that goes âtoo far inâ. It isnât that often, but enough that Iâve been close to them before. I can escape them, but Iâve never managed more than that.â He hadnât tried, but he also wasnât stupid enough to risk everything on a speedy kick.
âIt pays, and no one has to worry about hiring someone that looks as young as I do.â More importantly, that would bother him anyway. He was his own boss here, safe work be damned.
âThis form isnât mind at all, iâm just borrowing some power from a friend.â A friend that was a Dragon, but that was a simple way of answering Duneâs question. He was still just Human even if he had the Dragonblood to help him make pacts.Â
âAt least you are able to get away, but you should be more careful.â The Dragon form seems to give a concerned look to his friend, seeing as he did see Dune was a friend right now.
âIt pays? Just to get close to them?â Euden seems a little confused by the idea of that. He knew killing certain fiends could get a person money back at his home, but just spotting them sounded like an odd way to get payed.Â
âStill, I donât trust the limits I have with my power yet. I may be faster as a Dragon but i only have a limited time.â He had already used up half of the time on just testing his attacks.Â
