Imagine having traveled across the galaxy, fought military dictatorships and flown ships such as the grand Millennium Falcon. Imagine having discovered that you’re force-sensitive, imagine training to become a jedi with a lightsaber and even fighting with it. Imagine pretty much saving the galaxy with a bunch of people you can call your friends, the first actual friends you’ve ever had.
Then, imagine waking up on Earth. In a galaxy far, far away from the one you know and love. You have no idea where you are, how you got there or why. One day you just wake up in a strange bed, no one you know in sight. Completely alone.
If you can picture yourself in that situation, then you know how Rey felt. One day she was on board the Millennium Falcon, the next in some random city unlike any she had ever seen. No one answered her comlink and the first time she rushed out of the house she woke up in it was to the sight of the streets being abandoned. Though, further in the distance she thought she saw someone walking in her direction. It was quiet, the only thing she heard being her own heart beating and the wooshing sound coming from the breeze through the trees. Rey’s hazel gaze flickered around cautiously as she advanced towards the figure. She needed to know where she was.
Ben was getting used to the fact that this wasn’t his old home and had to rid himself of the idea that he could get back. still, part of him wished he found someone he recognized, not just strangers who had no idea how they got to this location like him. maybe this would be like a fresh start for the former Kylo Ren since no one knew who he was. He did wish he had his ship though of all things left behind.
In the distance he noticed a figure walking towards him so he put himself on guard yet made his way towards them, Maybe they could help him in some way? as ben got closer there was no mistaking the look of the person as they got closer to each other. ‘’Rey..’’ he spoke quietly to himself at first. ‘’Rey?’’ he yelled towards her as he sped up. part of him feared how she would react to seeing him here.
