SPY X FAMILY ✧ Ending Theme Song Animation
It's a little late but this is the amv I made for secret santa for my friend! I'm actually kind of proud of it ^^ though I know I still have a lot to little in terms of video editing lol. I need to push myself to practice more often >~<
I think.... Subaru has bpd... OK I know how dumb that sounds and I'm probably just hella self projecting but... I just finished episode 13 and holy shit.... this is really personal and dumb but I need to talk about this. Subaru tries so goddamn hard. He disregards everything besides the end goal, even accidentally hurting others in the process. Everything he does is for Emilia, almost like she's his FP. He works so hard and holds everything inside, running himself ragged for this one special person and he masks everything behind a cheerful face. He can't talk about his issues with anyone (I mean that's because of some curse but that literally what it fucking feels like) whenever Emilia tries to leave him behind he'll do anything to try and get her to stay, even saying some pretty shitty things ("going to extreme measure to avoid real or imagined abandonment")
I see myself in him.
Gigguk
Another weird one! This one is actually a YouTuber. How this works is that I just watch literally all of their videos. I know it sounds dumb. It's just how my brain works >-<
I've seen a couple of this dude videos before and I'm super interested in seeing more of his opinions and reactions of things. I haven't seen a lot of newer anime so his newer videos might not be as fun, I just hope there's not a lot of spoilers. But yeah...
Balderdash! A Tale of Two Witches
Finally got a small chunk of time to sit and read this! I really loved this webcomic. I'm so sad that the creator isn't updating anymore :( doesn't look like it'll go off hiatus anytime soon since it's been like 3 years.
I especially loved the style. Such vibrant and pretty color palettes. It really gave each page a tone of its own. I did get confused with the story and lore at some points but that might just be because I'm Hella dumb lol.
Loved the characters, loved the story, loved the art, loved how gay it was. I wish the author the best and that they'll continue this beautiful story someday!
Balderdash! Or, a Tale of Two Witches
This will be a unique one in that this pink strawberry star is a webcomic! The majority of everything in these strawberries are anime, books, and video games. But these strawberries actually contain *everything*. So that includes stuff like live action and webcomics and even stuff like YouTube channels. Daily reminder that I am crazy and all of this is dumb.
But anyway. I actually don't really know much of anything about balderdash except that it's gay and the art is adorable. It does seem that the author is on indefinite hiatus which is sad, but it also means that I should be able to get through this pretty quickly. Maybe even in a day or two if I can find the time.
Michiko & Hatchin
Finished with this one! The ending was totally unexpected and a little bit bittersweet to me. I mean Michiko pretty much sacrificed everything for Hana and Hiroshi to live and be a family together. But then hiroshi fucks off almost immediately (unsurprising) and Hana is just left alone. Pretty much making michikos sacrifice completely in vain! I did not see Hana growing up to be like that though. It's just weird because I've spent 22 episodes seeing her as this little tomboy feisty girl and then all of a sudden she's a mom? Like damn. I'm so happy her and michiko got reunited. At least there was a somewhat happy ending. Though it does suck that Hiroshi ended up being the worst thing to go on a wild goose chase for. *sigh* I still have so many unanswered questions too. Like who the fuck is actually Hanas mom. I guess it doesn't really matter though. I guess the real mom is the crazy ass murder chick with no braincells that Hana found along the way.
It was a neat show though. Not like my favorite or anything. But it was a good story and the characters were dynamic and were fleshed out really well. I also love the setting that was used. Mixed Japanese and central American cultures like that is something I've never really seen before and really added depth to the story. The music and visuals were beautiful and colorful too.
Damn that really sucks :/ he turned out to be a interesting character. Not a good guy at all but he was interesting to watch at least. I kinda liked him. I was hoping he'd have one last chance to see Hiroshi but... obviously that didn't happen. Rip
Ugh I really don't know why they're bothering with this dude. He obviously doesn't give a shit about them anymore. He is trying to get away from michiko. If he still cared than he would have found a way to let Michiko know he was alive.
Ok so he wasn't as sinister as I imagined. But still. I still don't think he should have forced his impression of her as an "angel" onto her. He placed a heavy burden on her. She didn't want that. She literally ran from him everytime she saw him. He was making her confused. He scared her but she also didn't know how to deal with a boy expressing love for her. And then he just fucks off like nothing happened.
God this kid comes off as the pretentious white knight type. Like Hana literally literally did not remember him and he kept talking like they were friends. He sees her as this ethereal enigma that he's gonna be able to keep for himself just because he had the kind hearted Impulse to give her a book.
