Love on Tour. It's been the greatest experience of my entire life. Thank you to my band, and all the crew who made the last few years so special. it's been an absolute pleasure.

To everyone who came out to see us play, thank you. I feel so incredibly full and happy, it's all because of you. You have given me memories that will last a lifetime, more than I could have ever dreamed of.

Thank you for your time, your energy, and your love. It's been an honor to play for you, I hope you had as much fun as I did.

Not that this is news to anyone (I’m pretty sure), but Twitter has gone to absolute SHIT since E*on M*sk took over. It wasn’t great before he bought it, but lord have mercy. When I’m on the desktop/web version, there are accounts showing up on my timeline that I don’t want to follow - there’s a reason I’m selective with who I follow. I can no longer see when someone retweeted a tweet - which may explain why there are so many accounts in my timeline that I don’t follow. But who the hell knows. And now there’s a tiny little dog icon up in the top left corner of the screen and I don’t know what it’s for or why it’s there.

there’s a misconception that grief only happens when we lose people. this is not true. we can grieve circumstances, relationships, missed opportunities. in fact, sometimes when you find yourself plagued with waves of emotion from sadness to melancholy you may be grieving yourself. the version of yourself that you might have been if things had been different, or if only you had said something, or if someone had stood up for you.

I don't care what nationality you are. US, UK, French, German, anyone in Europe, please do me the grandest of favours and spread this around. Steal the link, make your own post, I don't care; just get it to the eyes of your viewers because if they're Canadian, I need your help.

What is this about?

"Whereas:

The world is becoming increasingly hostile to transgender and nonbinary individuals;

Transgender and nonbinary people's rights to live as themselves are being restricted and removed in many places;

This includes the so-called "Western democracies" which have historically been presumed safe;

The United Kingdom is revising their Equality Act to exclude trans people from its protections;

More than a dozen American states have enacted or are considering legislation eliminating or criminalizing gender-affirming care; and

Canada has prided itself on being an inclusive, tolerant, and welcoming society for everyone regardless of gender identity or gender expression.

We, the undersigned, residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to extend to transgender and nonbinary people the right to claim asylum in Canada by reason of eliminationist laws in their home countries, whatever country that may be."

It's better to give people an exit plan, and just hope they won't need it, then to do nothing and assume they'll be fine. Help us keep making Canada a positive place for everyone. I hope you'll sign if you're Canadian, and if you're not, I hope you'll help us make some positivity by sharing this around.
