Have any other fairykin had experiences with lucid dreaming? Ive had a few lucid dreams and I always sprout wings and try to fly, it's difficult to learn how to do but it seems like its been getting easier as it happens more often. Has anyone else experienced that? Or have any tips on how to lucid dream more often?
( i hope its okay to reply with my own experience as a reblog! thats the easiest way with a side blog )
i used to lucid dream often. it was definitely a skill i had to work on to keep that control. first comes the realization that all is a dream. then, with intent, focus, manifestation, i tried to bring it to me. i feel it in my gut. what is it? anything. it first came from running away from nightmares. changing a situation. then i started seeking situations, places. flying. flying is something i feel in my gut.
vera was a faerie in my dream. she was (/we were) , the tinest thing, riding a monarch butterfly , through the garden, a cat running beneath us to keep up, wading through the long grass. one of my happiest dreams, i view this as a memory.
outside of my experiences! i hear writing down your dreams, or even having a specific dream journal, will help you remember your dreams and strengthen your lucid dream skills. its best right after you wake up, the first thing fresh in your mind. i dont know if this helps me so much as its something i like to do and reflect on. i find the more i lucid dream the better i get at it. but it has been a long time since i have. i just get strange dreams, sometimes insightful, sometimes not. i would love to lucid dream again.
