Eira Tenovna - Daughter of Shadow

Born in Fjerda, the country where grishas are looked as something not entirely human. Eira remembers little of her life there other than the fact she was discovered to be a grisha at an early age with a quite special power, marking her as a monster for life, daughter of the shadow. She has vague memories of her mother, Runa who she believes would accept her despite her father hauling her to the capital of Fjerda for trial and imprisonment. But even then, she is unsure if her mother would even accept her and yet she can’t help but yearn for that connection that she’s been missing all of her life.
During the journey to the capital, the transport was ambushed by a group of Ravkan soldiers and Eira was discovered and bought to the Little Palace at the age of five along with other grisha children.
The little girl wailed softly while curled up into a tight ball as she mourned for the loss of her life as she knew. The moment that changed her life once she saw her father’s face - cold and hardened. As if she was the very curse herself, as if she brought shame upon him. Then everything erupted. She couldn’t remember how long it went on. Only that there was deafening silence that followed after with a faint ringing in her ears.
She was tested and discovered to be a rare shadow summoner, a dangerous and powerful weapon that would surely give Ravkans an advantage in their future. She settled into the life of Little Palace, training and studying everything she could learn to be useful. She would never forget the feeling that her father gave her, that she was a monster. And perhaps, part of her believes that. Perhaps the shadows were her demons that haunts her, a cursed reminder that she’s not human. But... perhaps she wants to embrace the demons to serve for the greater good.
