Day 03 — A class you’re awful at playing?

My instant answer to what class I suck at playing is 'Warrior'. Mainly because I've rolled one quite a few times, but never got further than level 10. But when I think about it, the reason for that is usually boredom rather than me sucking at playing it. Maybe the two go hand in hand, who knows.

So I think the real answer to this, based on classes I actually play, is 'Shaman'. I rolled an enhancement shammy once and sucked at it. I now have an elemental shammy who is currently level 67, and as much as I enjoy it, I have to admit there have been way too many changes to them in MoP, which has led me to just downright button bashing my way through dungeons........and still being top of dps meter (hangs head in shame)........I do think some of it is sinking in, but, I can honestly say I am not fully aware of how to play the class.......kind of infuriating.

Fingers crossed Bobbittyboo makes it to level 90 and I can one day say I know what I'm doing :)

Day 02 — The biggest jerk you’ve dealt with (in game)?

Well, there's been plenty of those. Most memorable one? I remember a 'guildmate' way back in the day who thought it was funny to make jokes about rape, which infuriated me. Then one night when we were online alone, on discovering that my boyfriend was in the army, proceeded to make his opinion on soldiers very apparent to me.

This opinion went along these lines....."people who join the army obviously hate their life and join so that they can be killed, as they are too cowardly to commit suicide"........ Needless to say this guy was kicked from the guild the next day.

Yeah, I'd say that guy was the biggest jerk I've encountered in game. Obviously there are plenty on a day-to-day basis in pugs and trade, but that was the only one that actually upset me.

30 Day World of Warcraft Challenge

Day 01 — Your first character?

My first character is still, and always has been, my main character, Lothelania. My Night Elf Druid created on a trial account in April 2010 (bye bye life). I spent ages choosing the name, convinced that it had to be something incredibly Night Elfy (as if I knew what a Night Elf was!) I didn't realise then, the downright crazy names people actually chose for their characters. I thought I had to be serious! Hehe. Luckily I don't regret the name, as my guildmates down the road nicknamed me Lotty, which I love.

The earliest screenshot I can find is of her at Lvl 38, which might I add, isn't a proper screenshot. I was so nooby I used to paste my screen caps into Paint and save them with titles....horrific! Hehe. This one is titled 'Portal'.... This must have literally been the first interesting (worthy of a picture) thing I'd seen in the game. I think it is one of the 'old' world boss portals in Duskwood. Even these portals were out of use when I started playing. Since discovering what they were for I've felt quite sad to have not witnessed these dragons. Alas, before my time.....

I've included a picture of the lovely Lotty, as she appears in game at this present moment, at Lvl 90. Very proud to have stuck with this character from the beginning, and I have to admit, I love her as if she will always be a part of me.

Crazy Trivia: This character now stands at 162 days played.....my baby :)

PS. Can we just take a moment to truly appreciate the difference transmogrification made to the look of our characters :P

Here's a bunch of new pets I've obtained since the patch came out. Red Panda is a cutey! He is a reward from the new Beasts of Fable quest which can be picked up in the Pandaren city. This quest is a repeatable daily, as usual, and rewards a bag which can contain one of another 3 Panda's.

Three little guys I captured on the Isle of Thunder are Elder Python, Swamp Croaker & Electrified Razortooth. The Razortooth looks perfect alongside my hunter and Skoll with the blue electricity that he emits :) Brilliant!

The latest pet I've obtained is Tiny White Carp. I was looking forward to grinding for these four new fish pets, as they are rumoured to be as hard to fish up as the Sea Turtle mount......I'm not sure if I was happy or annoyed that this popped up on my first cast in a large fishing pool. I'm glad to have it so quickly, but there's a freaky side of me that enjoys long hours of fishing, hoping for something rare to pop up. I hope the drop rates aren't this good and I just got very very lucky :)

I'll probably be moaning in a few months when I've still not caught the other three, hehe....

I've been exploring the new branch of Archaeology, The Mantid. It's lovely to see that placeholder icon finally filled with something! My first artifact was a rare, a new gun. It's 463 and not actually too bad looking.

I'm a fan of the amber that we dig up. Little things like this please me haha. I can honestly say though, archaeology is nowhere near as fun as it was when it was created. Why do we only get a couple of silly blue items as rare finds now? What happened to all of the epics, mounts, pets and cool vanity items?? I'm sure Blizz said they wanted more people to use archaeology but honestly, it's been pretty dull in Pandaria. I hope we get some cool stuff added soon. It was my absolute favourite profession, but, it's definately been pushed down by fishing again.

I experienced my first fish of the day location, Sri-La Village, with an abundance of Reef Octupus pools. I originally thought this village would be where The Anglers hub would be. I still kinda wish it was, it's very cute.

The giant pool was in the tiny harbour so I fished alongside another person until the 'boss' Krakkanon appeared. He was quite strong for two of us but we managed to get him down without getting too wet. He rewarded 20 Reef Octopus and a Mimic Octopus for Nat.

Afterwards I noticed El, of El's Extreme Anglin' fame, on the small pier :) So I posed for a kill shot of Krakkanon with her. She also didn't seem to mind when I fished out the pool she was using. Nice start to patch day.

I've heard tales of the Darkmoon Rabbit.........a rabbit with a vicious streak a mile wide!! A killer!!! Well, tonight I came across this rabbit with, lets say, a group of comrades......more accurately, we found each other in a fit of panic, amidst whispers that the mysterious rabbit had indeed appeared.....in a cave off the coast of Darkmoon Faire.

On arrival at the coastline, I scanned the back of the cave, looking for this foul creature.......only to realise shortly after.....that it was right in front of me.....a teeny tiny little bunny rabbit.......Awwwww......

We began performing the ritual of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch......."And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou......OH A HUNTER PULLED!!!

      AAAAGGGGHHH!!!

       ............THAT IS NO ORDINARY RABBIT!!! IT'S ON ME!!!............

Yes.......it really was the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!

But fear not, it is now dead!

Aww yesterday was a good day :)

On my hunter I tamed Patrannache, who appeared just as I left a dungeon and I was about to hearthstone. Right place, right time for once :)

And finally a kind person (PixiePie24) on wowhead discovered and shared a way to get the Scourged Whelpling into my collection, after 5 long months of searching an empty corner of Icecrown. Obviously this phasing issue will probably get fixed in 5.2 as everything does after I spend time on it :P This strategy involved getting a level 1 character to Icecrown on a non-CRZ realm. I was so grateful after doing this to arrive in Scourged Whelpling land and find absolutely loads of them! So I was able to get myself a nice blue one too :)

Northrend Safari finally complete. Now I just need to wait for summer to get the Qiraji Guardling and I'll have my Zookeeper title :)

Dinged 90 on my Blood Elf Paladin and got the Double Agent achievement. This meant I could fly in Pandaria.....again......and use my semi-stolen Grand Armored Wyvern properly. This, along with other mounts, transferred to the opposite faction last patch (I got the Gryphon on Alliance). I wasn't aware they were doing that, but was happy to find a lot of mounts in my Horde journal at last.

So once I could fly I was straight down to Krasarang to check out the Dominance Offensive quest line. Oh, I put some of my old slutmog on aswell, forgot I had that and Zin'rokh in my bank, oh yeeeah! :) Possibly just a temporary transmog until I start getting some actual gear. But it makes me happy for some reason. Prob the huge sword!

Anyway, back to Dominance Offensive. So, Garrosh was as chopsy as ever, but I accompanied him up the beach and started slaying (my) Alliance. Then met Vol'jin, and wow! How hot is this guy now? What did they do to him? BE-A-UTIFUL!!!!

Followed sexy Vol' tentatively into the Dagger in the Dark scenario, where I made a blood pact with him and got pretty damn excited....!! (not in that way....but still)....

.....we will take Garrosh down.....!! How cool is this!?!

Needless to say, after all that excitement, I had to retire to my home city and have a seat for the night :) x

Azeroth's second moon is shining bright tonight :) This is the first time I've seen it (or noticed it. Many thanks to a guildy spotting it tonight). Just googled it and I'm impressed to find out it's not always visible and is called the Blue Child :)

This weekend......

I got the Darkmoon Eye pet on the last day of Darkmoon Faire :D Super happy with that, it's beautiful and quite a large pet.

Got around to levelling my sexy belf pala, Jakelwood. Got to 10% off level 90 tonight but I can't take any more questing.......Hopefully tomorrow :)

I finally made enough gold (54k for them stupid orbs!!!) to make my Geosynchronous World Spinner rocket mount. I'm so proud I earned all the money on my engineer, and didn't use any gold from other chars.....I dunno why I did that... I feel some sort of obligation that my alts should earn their own cash! Haha!

Most of the weekend was spent levelling pets for the 'All Pets Allowed' achievement - one of every family levelled to 25. Mr Bigglesworth was the last to reach the goal. He is actually amazing!! Definately recommend using him in battles.

In other news.....Lotty found a comfy nest while flying around the peaks of Kun-Lai.........Also, Tauren babies!!! Awwww!!

After killing Borginn Darkfist whenever I come across him in Kun-Lai, he has finally dropped the Crate of Kidnapped Puppies :) Pugs everywhere!! Sometimes they have little hats on!!

I accidentally ran through a a booby trap after my first summon of the pugs........only one survived.......but he fought til the end he did!

I took the guild to ICC to get their Kingslayer titles. I miss Lich King! Why does everything seem so far away when you're in Pandaria? MoP is a great expansion, but sometimes feels like a totally seperate game and makes me pine..... I love the snow :)

It's happened! He loves me! He finally loves me!!

Me and Nat Pagle are officially best pals :) I've eventually reached Exalted with the main man and purchased my epic fishing hat. I've spent so long bringing him fish, hoping he'd one day notice me :P

Later on, the gent sent me this absolutely awesome fishing chair!!! Totally made my week this has :D Love it!

I sadly bid farewell to the friendly seagull that I have been fishing beside for a few weeks now.... /sob. I may go back and show him my chair :P

Ding! Just reached Level 90 on my 3rd character! And who'd have thought it'd be my hunter?!?! The toon it took me a year to finally level all the way to 85, haha! :) MoP changes to Beast Mastery did make her super cool to play mind....

Also here's a pic of my lovely Warlock who was my second 90. Didn't post one of her prior.....don't even know why, cos she's amazing :)
