Nilou had surprisingly managed to convince Étoiles to let her go alone when retrieving Natalia from the hospital. Though he did call and let them know she was coming and give permission to let her leave for a set amount of time. She would be lying to say she wasn't just a bit nervous, but Natalia had seemed to be kinder to her than she was to Étoiles, so perhaps everything would go smoothly and they would have a good time... Hopefully.

Nilou knocked at her hospital room door. "Natalia? It's Nilou, may I come in?"

Natalia opens the door for her. Handmade beaded bracelets can be seen resting on her bedside table, perhaps that is what the patients did for activities today.

Nilou smiled at Natalia as she entered the room. "Hi! I hope you don't mind that I came by." She noticed the brackets on the table and went to pick one up, looking it over. "Oh, these are so pretty. Did you make them?"

"Anywho, I got your not asking about a sleep over! And to answer your question, a sleep over is when one or a group of friends come together at one of their houses and they stay the night. And you can play games or watch movies, do face masks or play around with clothes and make up, it's really fun I think! Soooo, if you are interested, id like to invite you to one!"

Lucien huffed as he left the house. Letting Alhaitham know he would be out with Nilou and Natalia. Alhaitham raised a brow at the mention of Natalia, but didn’t bother to question it. If Lucien got into trouble by doing so, that was his own fault. He could manage.

He made his way to Nilou’s place. Keeping his head low and away from the sight of anyone that might have been out at that time.

He began to come into view of Nilou and Natalia as he approached the house. His face didn’t indicate he was all that pleased, but he hoped Nilou knew him well enough he didn’t have to put his social mask on.

He adjusted the book bag that was slipping of his shoulder. “I’m a bit surprised you showed up.” He said, glancing over at Natalia.

Natalia keeps her head down due to no mask, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

Lucien raised a brow, having just as little social awareness as Natalia, but in the opposite direction. “Of course you did. You can say no to practically anything or anyone. You aren’t under any rules anymore.”

"Anywho!" Nilou interjected before the two could start bickering. "Maybe we could start with a movie? I've got pizza in the oven, and I can make some popcorn! Oh! And there are brownies on the counter that Tighnari brought me, if you're interested, @lucienaskblog."

Lucien seemed to physically perk up at the mention of Tighnari’s brownies. It was a stark contrast to his typical flat expression. “Sounds good.”

The three walked in, Lucien last. He blinked when Natalia said she was ‘familiar with such a compound’ and was still interested in the brownie.

“Ah?” Lucien hummed while taking his own brownie. “I guess I should have expected that.” He muttered before taking a bite.

Although he’s very strong when it comes to liquor, other substances his tolerance was lower. So the affects were noticeable

She picks apart her brownie and eats it bit by bit. Both alcohol and THC seem to take a while to affect her.

Anesthesia is a limited resource on the field, but I’ve found THC can calm wounded soldiers while I amputate their infected limbs. A nuisance how much they scream, but I will hold them still if I must.

Lucien was one brownie in and within the half an hour they had spent there he was already completely melted into one of the couches. Conversation was still very much possible but his vocabulary had dropped from a Haravatat scholar to your typical twenty something.

“Whatdya do to these people? …Just poke-em for fun?” He asked. Assumedly referring to injection testing but considering his question was asked long after the topic had changed.

Heh, how simple. I use them to test out prosthetic and bionic limbs and organs. All organisms are potential test subjects if I find them worthy for my experiments.

The results of my research are used to create ever improving prosthetic organs for Il Dottore. From the moment I had motor skills, I was hard at work. Ah, Dottore’s so kind to call me his most useful tool, I’ll repay him with my loyalty and effort.
