Some theories about PVZ.
1.The timeline of Garden Warfare may be after PVZ 2.Because there's NO time- travel elements in the game.As for the official Plants vs. Zombies comic published by Dark Horse, I personally think its timeline is set after Plants vs. Zombies 2. It was originally created to promote Garden Warfare 2.
That's also why the Garden Warfare Volume 1 comic features characters from Garden Warfare 2. Moreover, the first official Garden Warfare comic was released after Garden Warfare 1.
2.In PVZ:Heroes, many maps also APPEAR in Garden Warfare 2 and the Garden Warfare comics. For example, Snapdragon Mansion (this first appeared in Volume 3 where Snapdragon shows up; in Heroes it's the zombie mission where you fight Green Shadow, a homage to Batman), Z-Tech Factory, Rose Castle (Time Seed), and Citron's spaceship (a huge spherical ship). These characters' maps correspond exactly to several characters from Garden Warfare. So Super Brainz basically corresponds to/ties into the Snapdragon Manor setpiece — but what's weird is that Garden Warfare 1 never actually includes that location as a proper map or hub, even though the connection is right there.
3.In Garden Warfare, the plants that can move and the potted plants might actually be different varieties of the same species. Let me use Peashooter as an example.
There are both movable and potted versions of Peashooters (I will refer to the movable ones as 'Pea Soldiers' and the potted ones as 'Peashooters'). In the newspaper about the science fair in Garden Warfare 2, Crazy Dave is holding a Peashooter that still has its flowerpot. This indicates that Dave invented mass-produced potted peas — generally speaking, these ordinary potted plants can have their seeds mass-produced for planting, and they are easy to train, quickly becoming battle-ready (in Plants vs. Zombies 3, Crazy Dave mentioned that baby Peashooters only need some fertilizer and a bit of training before they can go fight zombies on the battlefield). However, Pea Soldiers are much harder to train than Peashooters. And Pea Soldiers are significantly stronger than potted Peashooters.
However, there is one point: potted plants and movable plants are related. Through targeted training and cultivation, they can also become each other. That said, cultivating a Pea Soldier requires far more effort and fertilizer than cultivating a potted plant.
4.It's not that Suburbia(Neighborville) is divided into suburbs and downtown areas—rather, the entire Suburbia itself is a suburb. The divisions should be the town center, residential areas, and other districts. Of course, some people say the town center is also part of the residential area (since Garden Warfare 1 didn't have a planned story by Paul; if we ignore the main plot, the residential area would be the neighborhood where Nate and Patrice live). Main Street belongs to a relatively bustling part of Suburbia, rather than being considered a 'block' or district.
5.Correspondingly, Brain Street (or Zombopolis) is a relatively bustling area within Zomburbia, rather than a region independent from Zomburbia. Main Street corresponds to Brain Street, and also corresponds to Zombopolis (just as the Cucumber Missile corresponds to the Zombot).
6.As for the positioning of individual plants and zombies: while a given plant population or zombie class does consist of many individual plants or zombies (essentially, types and classes are groups), each individual plant or zombie within that group is unique and exclusive. Some characters' default skins are themselves individual characters. The most representative examples are Super Brainz and Deadbeard on the zombie side, and the three Agents on the plant side. For instance, the Rose population may resemble Rose Agent in appearance, but not every Rose is necessarily a Wizard who came from the Middle Ages (the three Agents have distinct professions; they aren't like Peashooters who are simply born to shoot peas at zombies). Variants and default skins theoretically do not belong to the same population.
7.Also, the plant bosses in Garden Warfare 2 cannot be explained by the "attribute/population theory" that applies to playable characters. This is because, lore-wise, they are treated as plants that "ate more and better fertilizer" — essentially Pro Max versions of regular plants, rather than occupational/caste-based plants.
The zombie-side argument still holds true: Gargantuar, Yeti Gargantuar, and Disco Zombie are group zombies, while Baron von Bats is an individual zombie (because Baron von Bats has a very distinctive personalized name and appears in more story content).
8.Regarding L.E.A.F. matters related to "toast": you must be selected as an agent candidate to know about them (non-candidates cannot know certain things about the organization, nor carry out more classified missions).
Matters related to "toasted bread," "toaster," and "bread slices" deal with hunting bounty targets (where "bread slice" is used as a codeword for the target).
Even if you are not an agent or candidate of the organization, you can still carry out lower-level tasks assigned by Dave Bot 3000.All of the above terms are just Crazy Dave's ramblings — originally nothing more than "reciting menu items"? But when applied to specific situations, these words take on other meanings as jargon or coded language.
9.A major inconsistency regarding Crazy Dave's age! Since the Guide to Protecting Your Brain was completed in 2014, and Dave claims he is 36 years old, this 36-year-old corresponds to the year 2009 relative to 2014. In 2009, Dave should have been 31. Therefore, Dave should have been born in 1978!
10.*On a poster in Seeds of Time, there's a portrait of a great Zomboss ancestor — an explorer by trade, named Herman D. Zomboss. He's credited as the first zombie in zombie history to discover that volcano lava is… really hot.
11."The top zombie organization under Dr. Zomboss may have been disbanded by the time of Battle for Neighborville, since no one ever mentions it anymore — Zomboss lost the Garden Warfare, and the organization lost its reason to exist. The members are still around, but the organization itself is gone. (What, are you supposed to have the Top Zombie Trio sit in a stink pod playing mahjong with Zomboss? )
*That's ALL.Thanks to my friend PVZ- TRAVEL DAIRY.He carefully organized these theories. There are actually more, but let's save them for next time — this is already a lot for now.I hope everyone reads this carefully. It will be very helpful for fan creations.
