I didn’t know much about this fella…

BUT

Stop and listen to me for a minute.

This little fella is Twipsy, and is the most abstract mascot designed for a World’s Fair.

That fair was Expo 2000, Hanover. In Germany.

And can you believe this…

Twipsy starred in his own animated series as a delivery sprite in cyberspace.

And his series is very successful.

Smashing successful in 90 countries.

Now, Expo 2000 is set to mark its 15th anniversary, yet Twipsy has sunk in obscurity.

After a successful year.

Let that sink in.

For anyone who remembers this abstract cubist little cyberspace courier of a mascot, do Twipsy a favor and reblog or like.

Twipsy showed us cyberspace. Now we live in cyberspace, let’s show him thanks.
