It was a nice day. Well, at least the weather had been nice to him as he was finally sat down in the restaurant's terrace. It was the first lunch break he was going to be able to enjoy some nourishment he wouldn't have to wolf down between takes. Rich was incredibly grateful that he had been casted into the two new projects that he hadn't even thought about how he was already burning the midnight oil with the new season's promo before diving in headfirst. Even if it only was a couple hours, he needed the time alone... oh, fuck that. His head immediately shot up, forgetting all about the menu as he saw him on the street. Richie did a double take as he finally put a face to the feeling that came crashing into his chest. Composing himself into the most dazzling smile in his repertoire, he called out to Louie in a voice louder than was needed at that distance. "Well, slap my ass and call me Sally, if it ain't Mr. Eds himself." He laid back into his seat, opening his arms to the empty space before him. "C'mon, can an old friend tempt you to a spot of lunch?" That fucking particular word still left a bitter taste in his mouth and he could only focus on his expression not faltering as he spoke. Richie knew he could act his little heart out anywhere, but all talent failed when it came to Eddie. "Haven't seen you in a while." I missed your stupid face.
The sun felt nice. Not being hungover also felt nice. He'd been partying less this last year but still... a little more relaxation couldn't hurt. Especially since he saw the effort Atty made to go to most of those parties with him... even if he did try to hide it. And Louie kinda didn't want to go to most of them without him. So maybe more slow nights out, dinner, a movie... or skip to the staying in and doing what they wanted to indoors. A noise caught his attention, a familiar voice that had his heart hammering against his chest before his brain could put a face and name to it. He turned towards the sound, trying not to cringe. He'd forgotten how now every time he walked out he was liable to running into Richie and getting a full on anxiety attack. It was definitely easier when he could just watch his movies and pinch the inside of his hands when he felt he was getting too caught up looking at him. "Uh. I kinda already have a lunch da..." Louie's voice sputtered out as he stopped before he forcibly did this to himself. He couldn't keep running and disengaging himself from any interaction with Richie. First of all, he still couldn't stand the idea of seeing any disappointment in his eyes. Not that he'd be that disappointed, he probably had tons of people to hang out with now, he was a movie star. But still. Also, he didn't really want to walk away... he never did, he was just scared and he didn't like feeling like that scared kid again. Whilst his internal monologue kept his mind occupied, his body took control and by the time he focused again he was already pulling out the free chair in the table. "Yeah, kinda busy with the last exhibition." Louie mumbled. "Hey Rich..ie." He cleared his throat. "How're you doing?"
