Zac & Vanessa Post Break-up Avoidance Log
The purpose of this post is to keep a log of all of the occasions in which Zac and Vanessa were presumably avoiding one another since their split. It will be updated as necessary. If I have forgotten anything, please let me know and I will add it.
January 2011- Zac and Vanessa are nominated in the same category at the People’s Choice Awards. Zac attends (and wins), Vanessa does not.
April 2011-Zac and Vanessa both attend the premiere of Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure to support mutual friend Ashley Tisdale. This is the last time they are seen at the same event.
July 2011-Zac attends Ashley’s birthday. The two take flirty pictures together. Vanessa is absent.
August 2011-Vanessa and Zac are nominated for TCA’s. Zac attends, Vanessa does not.
May 2012- Zac and Vanessa both allegedly attend Shelley Buckner’s graduation party. Rumor has it one leaves before the other arrives.
July 2012- Vanessa (and Austin?) attend Ashley’s birthday party. Zac does not.
July 2012- Vanessa and Zac are both listed on the guest list for the Step Up Revolution premiere. Neither attends.
August 2012- Zac and Vanessa both have films premiere at the Venice Film Festival, days apart. Zac leaves the country before Vanessa arrives.
August 2012- Vanessa and Zac are both nominated for Teen Choice Awards. Zac attends, Vanessa does not.
July 2013- Vanessa and Austin attend Ashley’s birthday party. Zac does not.
October 2013- Zac and Vanessa allegedly attend the same Halloween party, though one is reported to leave before the other’s arrival.
August 2014-The HSM cast attends a charity reunion dinner. Zac does not show.
August 2014- Zac and Vanessa are nominated for MTV Movie Awards. Zac attends, Vanessa does not.
September 2014- Ashley marries Chris French. Vanessa is a bridesmaid. Zac does not attend.
July 2015- The HSM cast reunites with Kenny Ortega for the Descendants premiere. Zac and Vanessa are absent.
*Note: many of the absences have been followed up with statements from either Zac and Vanessa explaining why they did not attend. I’m not disputing their reasons; I’m simply here to report their absence.
