Actually my favorite replacement for both 'kill myself' jokes and jokes about reacting violently to things/people that upset me is "I'm going to end up on the news" like it's versatile, it's vague, it's not going to get me in trouble with any censors or websites that take joke threats seriously, it's family friendly while still getting the point across, what's not to love???

the thing about love next door is that it's nothing new - like, we have ALL seen these exact plotlines in many, many dramas over the years, and yet it just is so good? and that's what happens when you have a great cast and great main couple, because they could be reading a phone book and you'd still sit down for 16 episodes and want more.

with childhood friends -> lovers stories, the hardest thing to do imo is to convince the audience that this friendship is real and genuine, and here i was convinced immediately by their first interaction itself. you can just feel their bond and emotions as a viewer and that's such a win.

My mom and dad didn't come to my meet, but as I looked at the girl who skipped her exam for me, I realized. After meeting Bae Seok-ryu, there was never a moment when I didn't like her. But I don't have the courage to tell her because I don't want to ruin our friendship. So instead of now, I'll do it when I'm in my twenties. After we become adults, I hope I'll be able to tell Seok-ryu how I feel then.

You should be able to rot in bed for 2, maybe 3 hours after waking up before it starts affecting what time it is. If I wake up at 8:30 and lie in bed for 2hr it should still be 8:30 when I get up

was reading a romance/erotica novel a friend loaned me and in the middle of the book the main character is chopping vegetables to prep for a whole dinner party with her friends and the love interest shows up and they hook up & his hands go everywhere you’d expect them to and then afterward while she’s still catching her breath on the floor he’s like “I’ll finish this for you 😏” and he PICKS UP THE VEGGIES and knife with his UNWASHED HANDS and starts prepping. I was floored. I couldn’t finish the book. call me what you will. weak perhaps. but i say to you we need editors with a food handlers certificates. we need line cook beta readers that’s what I believe

I swear in IF Bodhi and Garrick had a deal to tell Violet all the tea. Like Bodhi tells Vi about Cat when they're at Basgiath, and Garrick tells Vi about missions that him and Xaden were on when they're at Aretia. They were sick of Xaden's shit (honestly relatable)

I love this because it totally goes both ways. Bodhi was the one to tell Xaden about Varrish pushing Violet to burnout.

Those two were either their number 1 shippers or so done with the lack of communication.
