Although it's a small detail in the manga, you can see two of the enemy soldiers smiling. One of them seems to be in casual conversation with another as the other soldiers execute people in cold blood.

The anime shows all the three looking at the execution smiling.

for some reason it just feels right and also I like the idea of Yor and Anya using sign language with him idk

I imagine it would happen sometime near the climax of the story where he gets in some kind of accident or something that gives him permanent hearing loss and he has to learn how to navigate life (and spy work ig) differently

headcanon, twilight is a leftie but he has to pretend to be a rightie because otherwise the sss would detain him for not assimilating (everyone in ostania must be a rightie because left = associations with west, therefore bad, also all the other demon stuff they like to talk about). he can do most tasks pretty easily since he's cross dominant, but his writing sucks. BUT he's pretending to be a doctor, and all doctors' handwriting is bad, so in fact it only strengthens his cover.

One of these days, we really gotta talk about Loid's anxiety. Bc like Mr. Twilight Bad Ass Spy wants to be all For the Mission, which yes we joke about consistently but also... we really need to talk about how every single time SOMETHING is wrong with either of his girls (He thinks Yor is mad at him even tho he doesn't know she got shot in the ass, Anya asks if parents who pick up their kids love them more - this one was actually totally valid tho even tho she was thinking in regards to Damain bc she knew her Papa was there even tho he doesn't know she knows - he thinks she she's mad at him) it's HIS failing, HE'S doing something wrong which makes him overthink every detail and every interaction. Like to me, I think that's why this family is so important and why he and Yor work so well bc we discuss her insecurities about being a wife and mom, and we see Anya struggling with her own abandonment issues and striving to be a capable student In order to keep the family together, but Loid definitely has his own insecurities that aren't nearly as touched on.

holy MOLY THIS GOT SO FREAKING LONG BRO im lowkey delirious but im gonna put the rest of the caption under a read more because it'll probably get extremely long as well

this started when i reblogged that one post and put the idea of twilight getting jealous of franky's other friends in the tags. then it got in my head and i was like, twilight is a friendless loser lowkey it would make a funny comic. so when i started this comic i intended it to be short like usual, and mostly silly in tone (you can kind of tell even by the way i draw the panels, if it's something goofy i'll hand draw the panels so they look a little messy, but if it's more serious i use a tool to make the lines neat and straight. the panels are mixed throughout this monstrosity which drives me a little crazy but i digress (digressing seems to be all im doing)). however the more i drew it the more i thought, Damn. it's not that he doesn't have friends, it's that he's actively like self-sabotaging because he thinks it'll go against his life mission of being a spy, which took #1 precedence after all of his friends and family died. but obviously he's never honest with franky about their friendship (even though IRONICALLY franky is the person he's most honest with otherwise), but he's been slowly opening up to yor, so i had to draw a whole sequence where yor and him had a conversation. and then obviously yor is a GORGEOUS QUEEN ALWAYS so i had to up the quality of those panels, but by the end you can tell i was so done because they're pretty rushed drawings. the ending in general is a little rough imo but i'll need to reread this comic in one go to get a feel for the flow, which i def wont be doing anytime soon because IM SICK OF LOOKING AT IT. this is the most amount of time i spent drawing a single comic and it revealed to me why i NEVER DO IT!! every time i went to add another drawing it warranted looking through every other page in succession. I have seen all 23 pages of this mf like 20 times each. IM DONE. MY NECK NEEDS REST! AND I SACRIFICED SLEEP FOR THIS TOO! GAHHHHHHH
