Introducing Louis Alliot. He is a student that belongs to the Spring District. He’s 22 years old and strongly resembles John Boyega. He’s taken.

Get to know him...

Hailing from New Orleans, Louis Alliot was always known as a dreamer. His grandfather and father alike had inspired him to take up the trumpet in hopes of one day becoming a jazz artist. He was accepted into a prestigious music school in the New Orleans area, however, his musical talents were constantly downplayed and the boy never had a chance to perform because of his darker complexion, but Louis was relentless. He continued to practice everyday and, at times, every night when he had the chance. That was until that one fateful day when he got the attention of a few professors during the Mardi Gras parade and soon  Louis’s dream was suddenly coming to life.

Now as a music education student and musician, Louis is quite the hardworking guy despite his carefree and laid-back personality. He’s the guy many people will see walking up and down the street just tootin’ that horn, even into the wee hours of the night. If you don’t find him there best believe you’ll find him working on his music or doing the occasional talent night to jazz it up. Most importantly, he’ll be in the music room, just writing and composing songs away as he hopes that one day he’ll live up to the name Louis, named after the great Louis Armstrong.

Louis has to admit that he’s come a long way since relocating to Costa Serena in order to further his education, but he can’t really be sure if this is the place for him. For some reason he feels as though he doesn’t quite fit in on the island, even if he’s surrounded by friends. Truth be told, he misses New Orleans more every day, but with so many new friends in this new places he’s a bit torn whenever it comes to his plans post-graduation. However, he doesn’t want to dwell on that now, he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there. For now all he wants is to have some fun and get even better at his craft so that he’s sure to make his father and grandfather proud.

Sammy Lyon (Best Friend): Louis is very drawn to Sammy’s laid-back vibe and trusts him with his life, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get on each other’s nerves from time to time.

Penny Proud (Crush): He’s run into the girl a few times around town and he has to admit that she’s unlike anyone he’s ever met before.

“Hey, I’ll try not to disagree with that, because ya probably right.” Angel raised her hands on either side of her head, admitting defeat. “There’s that famous street everyone is talkin’ about? La Rambla. We can go see what the big fuss is?”

Louis nodded. “’Kay then, let’s head over there. Who knows, maybe there’ll be a big enough crowd for me to show off a few of my skills.” He smiled and picked up the trumpet case that had been sitting at his feet.

Sammy stared at him, confused for a second, until he heard all of his statement. He then proceeded to burst out laughing. “Wow. Okay, I was expecting excitement, but this is great. Erm… Bodega Biarritz? They told me their pinchos are worth killing for.” 

“Ya sure know the way to m’heart.” Louis nodded excitedly, his eyes darting here and there as though the route to the restaurant would jump out at him. “’Kay, that’s definitely a strong start. C’mon man, let’s get to it.”

She looked up at the guy, coming to a stop in front of him. “Did ya really just compare us bein’ in Barcelona to one o’ the Chettah Girls movies?” Angel laughed loudly and shook her head, though she couldn’t quite blame him for making the connection. “I mean, I’ll give it to ya–where ya off to?”

He shrugged, laughing with her. “I mean... the thought must’ve crossed someone’s mind by now, right? I don’t know, really... I mean, I think I’ve hit up all of the restaurants that are really worth talkin’ ‘bout, maybe some sight seein’ is what I need now.”

“LouLou! Ready to go eat some fancy ass food? Because guess what, my man? Your boy right here?” Sammy pulled out a long list tha the’d been hiding behind his back. “I got recommendations for all the best freaking restaurants in the city.”

Louis’s eyes grew twice in size when Sammy pulled the list from behind his back. “Do... do ya hear that? Listen.” He looked up to the sky, placing his hand over his heart. “I think it’s the angel’s singin’. I think I’m gonna cry. Sammy, bro, you might be the best. Where to first?!”

As much as Angel thought she was used to the new life with her family in Manhattan or her time at WDPA, there always seemed to be a new surprise around every corner. She figured she’d never get used to traveling the world–first Tokyo, then Berlin, and now Barcelona? She wandered a little bit from the group she had been shopping with, her eyes moving around the buildings, to the shops and the people. When her gaze fell on a familiar face, she smiled. “I know we’ve only been here one day, but I think this is about to be my favorite trip so far.”

Louis had only one thing on his mind for when the plane landed: food. He was very experienced with traveling now, so naturally he had a plan. He’d go to each and every restaurant that was worth talking about during his time here, leaving no stone unturned. He was heading to the next spot when he ran into Angel. “Ya think so? The music here is amazin’, there’s folks playin’ everywhere! Kinda like that Cheetah Girls movie.”

Manolo was sitting by the open window watching the rain pitter down, music sheets in front of him covered in marks. His gaze drifting slightly, “Doesn’t the rain sound like music to you?” He asked the person near him.

Louis looked up from his phone with a grin and nodded, his eyes going to the window. “Yeah, it does, almost everythin’ does. But whenever I try explainin’ it to folks I just get weird looks.”

“Hey you. Would you like to go grab a cup of coffee?”

“Yeah sure, why not? I pulled an all nighter tryin’ to get this trumpet solo perfect and it’s still not where I want it to be... and I’m ramblin’. Sorry; that happens with lack of sleep.”

“Alright, I need help and I’m willing to slightly beg for it.” Sammy told them, staring at his balled up shirt on the floor. “I can’t go bare-chested to class and that is covered in hot chocolate. I don’t know what to do, I don’t have time to go home and change!”

Tam tilted their head, leaning back in their chair with a grin. “What’s wrong with going like that? If I had the body, I’d definitely flaunt it. Think of all the girls you’ll be distracting during the lecture.” They joked. “But if you’re waiting for actual help, I’m gonna need to see that begging.”

“Or,” Louis shot Tam an annoyed look, “Ya could just borrow somethin’ of mine. And what’s wrong with a ‘lil stain in the first place? I doubt anyone’s gonna care how ya look durin’ class.”

“I’ve been in Santa Monica for a long time now….” Moana said softly, staring out the window in front of them. “I don’t even know what home looks like. It could be okay still…it always was slowly getting worse and worse…” she sighed. “I’m sorry, I just….feel like I’m not doing enough.”

"Why can’t ya go and visit?” Louis raised a brow, following her gaze out of the window. “Are ya supposed to be doin’ somethin’ while here? Like a mission? That sounds cool... but, I mean, not if ya home is in trouble.”

Aquata looked up from her laptop and gave Louis an apologetic expression. “What’re you reading?” She asked. “Maybe I can help. I majored in archaeological studies with a minor in exercise science–weird, I know, but I can help with any ancient history facts?” 

“Does that mean you can give me a few interestin’ fact ‘bout ancient Egypt to throw into this paper? Anythin’ would work, I just need to show that I’ve learned somethin’.” He chuckled. “Exercise science? That’s a weird combo.”

“What pisses me off is the fact that there is more emphasis on the Roman Colosseum when there should be more on the Giza Pyramid Complex or at least the pyramids of Chichen Itza,” Aquata mumbled angrily in front of her laptop. “I just want some pyramids and ancient lore,” She whined.

“And I just wanna finish this homework.” Louis looked up from his textbook with an exasperated expression. “I don’t even know what ya just said, honestly. I can’t believe I took up this class, what was I thinkin’?”

“I don’t even know how long it’s supposed to last,” she said with a shrug. After a moment, she laughed. “But hey, I ain’t doin’ much better than you with a jean jacket and a scarf.”

“I don’t even wanna think ‘bout it. I’m still hopin’ I’m gonna wake up any minute and this is all a really messed up dream.” He laughed, checking out the girl’s outfit. “Yeah, I guess Southerners gotta struggle together durin’ somethin’ like this.”
