” Well… a visit from you is always welcome-“ He reached out and grabbed one of Owen’s bandage wrapped hands gently.

Owen doesn't move away from the touch, he trusts louis with his entire heart

Louis gently pressed a kiss to his hand , still smiling just as brightly. “I enjoy your presence, Owen. You make life more interesting.”

"oh- i- uh uhm, uh, okay! Sorry, thank you, I love you too- uh"

“You’re so awkward, love…” He said , pulling him inside

Louis let out a small laugh “You absolutely are! Have you seen yourself around me?”

"wha-! How do you know thats not just how I always am, hm?" He points out, finally finding his tounge

“Hm.” He hummed. “Fair point.” He stopped in front of his desk , offering the chair to Owen.

"I could be the most silver tounged man in this town, and you wouldn't know!"

Owen gladly takes the chair, his legs are killing him

"Thank you"

Louis instinctively stood behind the chair , one of his hands tangling in Owen’s curls. “Would you like me to braid your hair , love?”

"uh- i- I'd like that please" owens voice cracks when he says that "sorry, I havent brushed it in a while I uh-"

“Don’t worry. I can brush it too.” He basically cooed , taking a step away from Owen and walking to a table at the other side of the room, the heels of his boots clicking on the floor. He rummaged around in a drawer for a moment before returning to his previous position, brush in hand.

Louis didn’t notice the flush , or he was choosing to ignore it. Either way , all he did was smile and start gently running the brush through Owen’s hair.

“Relatively pleasant.” He replied with a small smile “What about yours?”

"good! I got some decent work done, I planted the saplings, I... Yeah, it was good"

“Glad to hear that.” Louis said , gently working on a tangle he had found while brushing.

Owen hums, ignoring the tugging on his scalp "so uh... How's oakhurst? Nothing going horrendously wrong?"

The mayor shook his head “Everything has been going well. At least so far. Nothing more than usual complaints.”

He hummed softly in response. “ Your hair is quite tangled….do you want me to wash it? That might help….”

Louis grinned , his fangs sparkling slightly. “We should go to my house then… I have proper things to wash hair with there.”

“Are you cold?” He asked , concern lacing his tone. “Would you like my vest”

Louis shook his head , already removing his vest. He pulled it over Owen’s shoulder and when he was done , brushed a hand against Owen's cheek.

He was so, so, so in love

And owen believed he was okay with that. He reached a hand out to tug on the mayor's sleeve

Louis grinned , his fangs sparkling slightly. “We should go to my house then… I have proper things to wash hair with there.”

” Well… a visit from you is always welcome-“ He reached out and grabbed one of Owen’s bandage wrapped hands gently.

Owen doesn't move away from the touch, he trusts louis with his entire heart

Louis gently pressed a kiss to his hand , still smiling just as brightly. “I enjoy your presence, Owen. You make life more interesting.”

“You’re so awkward, love…” He said , pulling him inside

Louis let out a small laugh “You absolutely are! Have you seen yourself around me?”

"wha-! How do you know thats not just how I always am, hm?" He points out, finally finding his tounge

“Hm.” He hummed. “Fair point.” He stopped in front of his desk , offering the chair to Owen.

"I could be the most silver tounged man in this town, and you wouldn't know!"

Owen gladly takes the chair, his legs are killing him

Louis instinctively stood behind the chair , one of his hands tangling in Owen’s curls. “Would you like me to braid your hair , love?”

"uh- i- I'd like that please" owens voice cracks when he says that "sorry, I havent brushed it in a while I uh-"

“Don’t worry. I can brush it too.” He basically cooed , taking a step away from Owen and walking to a table at the other side of the room, the heels of his boots clicking on the floor. He rummaged around in a drawer for a moment before returning to his previous position, brush in hand.

Louis is sitting in his office, at his desk and going through paperwork. He looks up at the sound of the door creaking open and smiles at you "Oh- hello."

"Good morning, Louis." Owen tentatively greets him, remaining by the half opened door.

Louis’ face lit up as he recognized the lumberjack. “Good morning,” He said with a hum.

"You've found yourself more work, hm?" He slowly approached, wringing his hands absent-mindedly.

He nodded with a sigh “It looks like I have….more paperwork. It’s quite annoying , really- but it’s something I have to do as mayor.”

Owen was sympathetic to his sigh, taking his place just behind the mayor's chair. "Anything I could help with? I may not be literate but I know more than enough numbers," He joked.

“Emotional support… that would be great.” He reached behind him and rested a hand on Owen’s

"Tsk, how could I refuse?" Louis' hand was gentle, his touch was loving. Even something so simple made the poor fledgling swoon.

He made a purr like noise deep in his throat and began writing again.

Owen watched intently as Louis' pen glided over paper, the words amounting to scribbles but the handwriting elegant nonetheless.

“You know…” He started , considering his next words carefully. “I could teach you how to read and write- If that’s something you would like.”

"Tch, don't you think I'm long past that point? I mean, what use would it serve anyways?" He fidgeted with his sleeve.
