Bothered by the out of place design of the Snowy Escape icon? This mod will replace it with an "inverted" version that's more cohesive with the rest of the packs.

Journey to Batuu icon override [mod]

Ever been bothered how the icon for The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu is in a different style than the rest? This mod replaces the icon with a more fitting one:

This is a mod that fixes the Freelancer career in the Sims 4.

After the September 3, 2020 patch (1.66.139), a bug was introduced making the freelancer career unplayable: completing all steps in a gig would result in no pay and the gig not ending unless it was manually cancelled. This mod is a temporary fix for that bug.

This is my first ever mod and I'm sorry if you run into any problems or if it doesn't work for you. Send me a message here or on twitter @Louisim_yt if you have any issues.

Please make sure you have mods enabled, as well as script mods!

FAQ

1. How do I install the mod?

You just have to place the file in your mods folder which on Windows is usually here: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

2. How do I know the mod is installed? 

If you go to Game options > Other > View Custom Content it should be in the list under Script mods. 

 3. The mod doesn't show up! 

Make sure you have both "Enable Custom content and Mods" and "Script mods allowed" checked in Game options > Other, then restart the game. Also, please don't put the mod file in a subfolder. 

4. I installed the mod but my sim's gig still won't complete!

The mod doesn't automatically pay your sim for an already completed gig. You have to either wait till the deadline or start another one, but it will work properly from then on! 

5. I have another [insert issue about the freelance career here]. 

Sorry, this mod will only fix the completed gigs problem. It is also unlikely the mod is the cause for your issue.
