As mentioned earlier, we have sg Airachnid as a gentle princess who, unlike the original, enjoyed the company of cons, despite the harshness of wartime.

She was especially drawn to Breakdown, despite his aggressive nature. Breakdown didn't want to repeat the story with the fembot, as it had once happened in the past. But because of the soft nature of this spider, he thawed x)

She also had a good relationship with Soundwave.

After Breakdown's death, she left the ship and was soon caught by the autobots. Because of her small size, Airachnid was practically devoid of energon (due to limited resources, autobots are willing to siphon blood from their enemies for fuel), she was imprisoned underground and experimented on with a virus. The result was her transformation into a spark-eater, which Optimus wanted to use against the decepticons.

Fun fact: there is a species of spider Latrodectus pallidus. Which is literally a white version of black widows. In addition to the opposite coloration, these spiders have a much weaker venom, and therefore are not considered dangerous.

Take a Slice AU - Optimus Prime x reader pt 1

☆ Huffing softly, you kept up your jog as you pushed the trolley along, the drums of that glowing goop rattling some as you rushed around. Inbound delivery, this one heading to… You slowed, checking the large tag attached with the paper slipped inside. The face of a robot named Ratchet looking back. Red badge, orange and white plating, looks pissy. Got it. You shifted on your toes, getting a “Running start” once more before continuing on your run. These guys were fast. But, this marked down his suite number as well as the place he frequented- the med bay.

☆ Peacetime negotiations and open communication with the decepticon leader were… Expected. Didn't mean they weren't long. Exhausting.

Optimus sighed as he took a moment for himself. This treaty was… great. They won. WON. The war was over, no more death and violence and the freedom for all regardless of altmode was the core, and… he was so, so tired. Just wanted to stay in sleepmode until his body rusted apart. Times during the war so bad he only thought of numbers, not lives.

But now they were here. Together. Trying their best to… do SOMETHING. Prove that there doesn't need to be violence to make a better future. But it was difficult. Tensions were high. Everyone waiting for the first shot to ring out.

☆ Turning a corner, you skidded to a stop, the drums of energon sloshing a bit. Two other, massive robots standing, leaning against a wall. And when they see you, their faces look too pleased. Moving closer to you and looming, one reaches down and-

“HEY! HEY, WAIT, THAT'S NOT YOURS!!” you shout, staring at the gold one that just swiped one of the barrels of energon for himself, even ripping the top open to start drinking. The red bot grinning and following suit, despite you running around to try and block him. He was huge compared to you, what did you expect? Red snatched a barrel for himself.

“Aw come off it shorty, there's plenty to go around.”

“That doesn't matter, I'm gonna get chewed out you giant BASTARD! Give it back!!”

Those blue eyes shine in a way that you FEEL could be am eyeroll. Maybe. He cracked the lid of the barrel.

☆ Shouting? The leader frowned, turning his helm and moving down one of the halls. Sounds like one of the humans. A very upset one at that. And his spark spins tight, worried someone may have stepped on one, or punted a human by accident. Or on purpose. Not many cybertronians liked humans much.

He turned the corner, and Optimus Prime stands still, but tall. He's always known how to quiet his steps. And he is… not pleased with the scene playing out. One of the little worker humans pointing and shouting at Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Both of whom are snickering and helping themselves to the supplies on their cart.

Sideswipe freezes upon spotting him, and the Prime crossed his arms, staring. Displeased. The red mech nudged his brother, and the both looked rather panicked as they placed the barrels back down on the cart, giving guilty, sheepish grins.

And they were off. Transforming into their alt modes and tearing away down the hall of doors.

☆ You blinked at the reaction, the two assholes fleeing in terror. Didn't think you were THAT scary, but you'd take what you could get. Looking over the barrels, you sighed. One was half empty, the other a third… and then there was the unopened one. You… really hoped that you didn't get in too much trouble.

…Something was off. The fine hairs on the back of your neck prickling. And you turn, only to have to tilt your head back as the very, VERY large robot in front of you made a slight chuffing- LEADER. THAT WAS THE LEADER OF ONE OF THE FACTIONS. BIG DAWG ON CAMPUS TYPE DEAL. Scrambling, you shoved the trolley out of the way and pressed more toward the wall.

“I..! I am so sorry, uh. Am I in your way? Did I wake you or something? I'm sorry! I'm just on a delivery, is all, and-”

The red and blue robot shook his head, holding a hand up placatingly. “Its not your fault, you did nothing wrong. I apologize for how my team behaved. That was… unbecoming, stealing from your cart, ruining your parcels and intereupting your job. I'll have a talk with them. This wont happen again. I promise.”

You shuffle awkwardly, shrugging. “I… It's not your fault, it's okay. Should've gone faster.”

“No, but they are my soldiers. They may be young, but its no excuse.” He pressed a servo to his chassis. “May I escort you where you need to go? No one will pick off your cart while I am near you.”

☆ The big man wants to walk with you? Well, you could hardly say no. Mostly because you would have to have some pretty big balls to decline the LEADER'S offer.

“If… You're sure..” you offer weakly. “I'm a fraction your size, so this is gonna be a very slow walk for you.”

Leader Guy shook his head. “No matter. I could use the stroll.”

Finally, you shrugged, nodding. You tried fitting the lids back on the barrel drums, but… well… other than cramming them in awkwardly there wasn't much to do at this point. You pull the ID paper from the sleeve hanging off the cart and show him the photo.

He makes a noise, inclining his head. “Ah, Ratchet. My dear friend. I know exactly where he is. I will lead you.”

With that, he took a stide, turning to watch you as you started pushing the trolley along, dented barrels rattling. Hopefully, Ratchet wouldn't eat you for the damaged goods.

When I'm too lazy to press record for a reaction vid, WELCOME TO TRANSFORMERS: PRIME REACTION BLOG where I just... live react... by text. This is also my first introduction to transformers fandom since g1. I don't even think I finished g1 it was just on the tv sometimes and idek if I watched it consistently. (I also scouted the ao3 first)

Pt. 1:

...I thought Arcee's name was pronounced "Arky" whoops.

Wait, is Energon pronounced... "En-er-jon"? Like john? Not- not "Jen"? I thought- I thought it was Energen- but spelt Energon...

Huh, that's Cliffjumper? I thought Bee was the one with the horns. Didn't Cliff had like, a window on his chest or smth? I thought he was smaller too- wait. Hol-up.

Ah both of them had horns, he also was blue, I was half right.

The Vehicons looks so cool, ....that's how you spell that right? They also do be swarming.

Why is Starscream's voice so raspy? (I kinda watched his chinese voice first and his english one threw me off.) I know he's calm right now but I thought... shrill was his default.

Also Miko... why are you encouraging Kidnapping? Her voice already has the "Danger? More like interesting fun." And... I fear for her bravery and incompetence.

Also why doesn't Starscream look like G1? Why was it a massive change? I liked G1 Starscream a lot. Also Starscream has a small waist but it's at least proportionate to his size... not at all noticeable like Optimus' was. I clocked him immediately.

Why does this mech not have a nose? Why is his face so weird? It's weirdly smooth. I'm pretty sure he never took off his mask in G1 orrrr that I never saw it when I randomly booted it up. But I always wondered what was under there. Now seeing a face underneath the mask.... feels unnatural. I don't really like it, I'm so used to his mask on his face that this looks.... SO weird to me.

Oh my god, it IS pronounced "En-er-JOHN." NOW IT FEELS SO WEIRD BECAUSE IVE BEEN USED TO JEN. BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY JOHN DOE THIS WHOLE TIME?!

Oh they straight up said OP and Megatron were like brothers. I thought it was revealed far later.

Also why do they have eyebrows? I know it's for making them expressive in animation but... for what reason would Cybertronions need eyebrows for? They don't have sweat. And even if they do, ours don't even work half the time. THEY ARE SMOOTH BECAUSE OF METAL THEIR EYEBROWS WOULDN'T WORK EITHER.

Why does Starscream got that growl in him- Do I even remember what his voice was like in G1? Was it also that gravely? I DON'T REMEMBER

Huh, I weirdly perfer Megatron's mandarin va than english right now. The teeth doesn't fit, feels like he should switch with Star- he sounds more evil right now. Megatron kinda sounds like an old man which... considering his age he probably is. Lol

Also, god DAMN these space bridges are huge. That's gotta be like planet sized because Megatron is like a bitty speck here. Why is the portal so big? I thought space bridges were small...

I do like Megatron's optics, cause technically it's not fully red, it's got white. Optimus too but Megs got a ring on it--

Ahah- I mean the different optics looks really cool, def selling him being crazier than everyone else. I do like how their eyes are all different. You can also tell Miko is japanese because of the shape of her eyes too. So cool charachter designs.

Okay first episode done! I liked it a lot! I didn't see the intro but maybe show's like this doesn't have intros in the first episode? Unless I missed it which nooooo, every time I wanted to watch the intro my cousin skipped it, I don't even know what it looks likeeee.
