Resurrection takes place a few years after the events of The Last of Us Part 2, and follows 2 protagonists of the story. Lev is an 18-year-old boy who was exiled and hunted by his religious cult, The Seraphites, for shaving his head and changing his name from Lily, to Lev. He has traveled on foot from Seattle Washington to Santa Barbara California with his only friend and mentor, Abby, an ex-member of both the Fireflies and the WLF (Washington Liberation Front) where she was in a war with the Seraphites. They have caught up with the militant group, the Fireflies, who were dedicated to restoring humanity in any way they can. Abby and Lev have lived and supported the Firefly base since they have arrived, and have quickly ascended the ranks of status and trust. Our story would begin with watching their scene of being reintroduced to the Fireflies, as Abby was an ex-member before her branch of the Fireflies was wiped out, and she discovered their hideout at the end of Part 2. The story would be centered around Lev and Abby searching for another immune survivor that’s been rumored to be near the area and convincing them to go back to the Fireflies to try and fabricate an antidote.
Lost in the darkness
On what was thought to be another casual morning at the Santa Barbara Firefly base, Abby was called in by the leader Samuel, to ask her to go on a scout and retrieval mission for a rumored immune person to be floating around the area. Samuel was almost as muscular as Abby and stood a few inches taller. A large white beard to match his long white hair covered most of his face. He was gentle and kind, unlike most survivors. Abby trusted him as they took her and her companion, Lev, in and sheltered them for the past few years. However, she didn’t believe it, as there was only one immune person known to exist, and that person hadn’t been seen or heard from in years. Even though Abby had let go of the days in Seattle, she still saw her face at night.
