The Roaring Twenties Photo Shoot!
What #event planner doesn't love to do #photoshoots every once in awhile?! Photo shoots allow us to let our creativity flow and come up with a design idea that we may not have been able to do otherwise.
We knew that this shoot would be taking place at the beautiful #Temecula Valley #WineCountry location of #PonteWinery. #Dreamcatcher took a trip up to visit the grounds of Ponte so we could get the creative juices flowing! Not only is the venue unbelievably gorgeous but there were multiple sites where we could shoot.
At the time of this photo shoot, the popularity of the 1920's design and fashion were starting to trend due to the increasing popularity of shows like Downton Abbey and with the release of the Great Gatsby. We were deeply inspired by the cultural edge of the 1920's, a time of economic prosperity highlighted through the time period's uncanny ability to throw flashy events; especially weddings! After seeing the serene elegance of Ponte Winery, our minds immediately went to this type of a theme; which is why we decided to name this shoot: The Roaring Twenties.
The colors we went with were hot #pink, #red, and different shades of #purple. These rich floral colors combined with the over-the-top #centerpieces, draping with pearls, reflected an upscale yet dramatic replica of this era's style.
The #silver accents and lace were then used as a way to bind the elegance of this tablescape together. Going "all out" was a must in order for us to replicate this fashion savvy era!
One of our favorite #design features of this photo shoot was of the chair sashes. We actually went into this shoot not knowing specifically what we were going to do. After a few minutes of playing around with them, this beautiful design happened.
With all the glitz and glam that this era had to offer it's no wonder we saw couples all over America go wedding crazy with themes such as this!
This was an amazing experience at a gorgeous venue with a spectacular team. We want to give a special thank you to Epic Stems, Hulse photography, and Premier Party rentals for all their contributions for this photo shoot.
