MISS UNUSUAL (The Concept)

I recorded the entire Miss Unusual (AKA  Mhiss Hype) LP at Studio 9  (Winslow CT) with a brilliant genius recording engineer by the name of Craig Adams.

Miss Unusual is actually about being normal - we have all felt unusual and have all had hilarious moments of reflection where we get to laugh at ourselves and be human. 

I had originally released Miss Unusual underground via Myspace.com (2003) while passing out copies to participants of The Van Ness Recovery House Prevention Division (now named Friends Labrea) where I worked as an Outreach Specialist. It was pure joy being able to add my performing art addiction to the cause of preventing the world around me from harm and vise versa. <3

I really was not entirely happy with the first release however. It was not a finished album in my eyes. It was a time when I really had a hard time trying to find the core of whatever it was that made me so sensitive and at times so on my own nerves that I just stopped recording it.

I payed Craig Adams a visit years afterwards (2011) and I actually had owed him $150 dollars that he allowed me to pay back to him and we finished the album! :-) FINALLY! SWEET BLISS!! <3

And also to Scott Taylor (Bass) who actually brought his daughter to the session who stayed briefly and with  drummer Brent Wroten whom of which I also thank - and the awesome Chris Buzea of Viscera Thrash Metal  all for their amazing work and help on "As We Breathe"; alongside me on piano and vocals of course - Gosh what a blessing and honor for me that it is to have had you with me on this track - it's one of my personal favorites on the album.  Also to G Lo and Foxxjazzell for their help <3

How many you's are there in this demension that are feeling everything you feel as you feel live the same life, speak the same words, etcetera - (perhaps I do not know the answer to that question) but what I do know is that there can never really be an exact replacement of a human being that leaves the same fingerprints.There hasn't ever been another you the way that you are you through the measured timestamps of existence - NATURALLY WHICH MEANS YOU ARE VALUABLE AND DO NOT FORGET IT!! <3 <3
