When he comes back he tries to be really quiet. As he walks over to her he watches her, keeping quiet as she works her magic.Â
A small green vine with bright red thorns grows out of the soil and Lennon pulls away before one of the thorns pricks her, letting out a deep breath as she leans back on her heels.
[shrugs] May I suggest poison?
"No you may not." she pulls out a notebook and then glares at James "My sisters are still over there and I won't poison them."
[he doesnât realize it but heâs starting to drain her, and fast as he follows her for a little]
Lennon starts to feel a little light headed and leans against a wall for support, dropping his hand and putting her head between her legs.
[stays quiet as she listens and then just slips out the other way]
Felix chuckles. âHowâs the project going?â
She turns around with the sword pointed towards him "Why are you so interested?"
Yeah well lifeâs not all sunshineâs and rainbows.
She hands him something to stop the bleeding and then goes to get ice, dragging him behind her. "It's still a stupid reason."
[watches her as she pushes past her] What did you see?
Lennon has her back to Olivia and leans against the counter as she takes deep breaths to calm down. "I saw monsters ... Drakons and Harpies and Hell hounds were attacking my sisters and camp and Sebastian ... It was terrible. The cabins went up in smoke and there was screaming and I couldn't move. I was trapped somehow." She wipes her cheek and then shakes her head. "There, you got it out of me, leave me alone!"
A smile slowly creeps on his face. âSo you do have a spine.â
Lennon narrows her eyes "And a temper. So leave me alone." she walks past him to the wall of swords and picks one up to practice on one of the dummies in the other corner.
"Okay. You want me to go get them while you start to sort this out?"
She smiles and nods, then when he leaves to get the pots, she bends down places her hands on the soil around the plant, her thumbs and pointer fingers making a triangle around the stem and concentrates.
Isabelle looks back at Lennon and then shakes her head. âUh, no, nothing.â She smiles a bit and goes back to her sketch.
Good. [he sits down] Now continue. Â What are you doing?
She frowns, watching him sit. He's sitting off to the side and giving her plenty of space, but it still feels too close, like he's suffocating her with just his presence ... She tries to ignore it. Lennon turns her back on him, but the hair on the back of her neck warns her that she shouldn't and instead she sits with her back to the window and starts to refill one of the pots with soil "I haven't decided which plants to grow yet ..."
Tristan. He started it I did nothinâ [he moves to stand wiping his nose and moves to get water] He was sayinâ somethinâ âbout how weak I was that I needed rescuinâ. âm not weak.
She scoffs, scrunching her nose up at all the blood "So you decided to beat the crap out of each other?"
[she furrows her brow] But you have no concrete reason to fear my brother?
"I told you it's hard to explain!" she shouts at Olivia "He saved me ... I should be afraid of him, but what he's shown me ... everything I'm afraid of ... it feels like I'm trapped and I'm anxious all the time. I can't explain it! STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS!" she pushes past her.
I didnât do nothinâ!
She watches the two fighting and shakes her head "What's going on?!"
"I mean the ones we arenât using could have some flowers in them for a bit till we get more pots. Or a flower bed or something. Maybe we could put it in my room. Iâve been trying to get Runner to stay there so I can monitor him while his burns are healing but he is really stubborn. It could be like an infirmary and if the flowers have healing powers maybe itâll help." he said with a bit of a smile.
She smiles "We could certainly work on some healing flowers." but then she shrugs "But I still think that we're going to need all the pots here for what I already have planned."
Because itâs interesting. This is why I picked you. [he gestures towards the plants] Â What you and Danny did back at camp, I want you to replicate it here, but I want to make sure that youâre loyal to us. Â If you betray us in anyway, Iâll kill you and Sebastian.
Lennon winces when he threatens her and Sebastian and stands up meaning to yell at him to go away, but there's something in his eye that makes her shut her mouth and look away from him "I won't betray you and the others."
Isabelle watches Lennon, smiling slightly and then looks away when she realizes sheâs staring.Â
Lennon looks over her shoulder and tilts her head when she realizes that Isabelle is still there. "Is there something else you needed?"
