okay. this week has been like emotional electrocution, but i need to just breathe. self: just focus and figure everything out. you can do it. i’ve turned chaos into something manageable so many times before. this is what i do.

Day 3: To Do List

1. Ask Registrar if there is a way to look up how long your petition for pre-candidacy has been extended. 2. Ask Rashid what to do for late work I can turn in. (Should I email it to him?) Also ask what a 3 corresponds to. (If you get all 3s on the assignments, is that a B+? An A?) 3. Apply to other internships (similar apps) 4. Add really cool visualizations to website (mention on resume?)

Day 2: To Do List

Okay, sending emails is scary but they are going to happen today. To-do list for Sunday: 1. Put together teaching resume, email Danielle, and pick an interview date.  (1.5) Email Andreas about how to help finish up your grading. Mention the auto-grader files in HW 1. 2. Email that poor student. 3. Email Lenya about GNRs. Then set aside time on Monday to talk with the Registrar about that. 4. Put together Google resume (add comp. and ias) 5. Write Google cover letter(s) and send off internship applications ----- add QA experience 6. Email that ancient recruiter who contacted you 2 years ago. 7. Email Richard back (can be short). 8. Set aside time on Monday to *also* talk to the Registrar about dual-degree. 9. Plan what you will say to Margot when you meet her  10. Set aside 90 minutes to read/understand Rafe’s research. 11. Set aside 90 minutes to play probability catch-up for JT’s class. 12. If (10) or (11) is too much, complete that ancient write up for Michael (maybe with a glass of wine). Reward for doing these things: extra snuggle time, work on website, take pretty pictures, extra giggles
