Alright, honestly? Fuck anyone who’s ever called Nami a heartless bitch. This broke me.

Nami never gets hurt to this extent because she’s always been the type to do whatever she can to survive (see: how she handled Enel). So when she actually DOES get hurt it’s all the more impactful and when she does something like this, trading her safety for her faith in Luffy, it just hits different.
