CAM: First day of school and I already lost my math book. Have you seen it?
ANYA: Umm I'm not sure! What math are you taking??
I am aware that I am less than some people prefer me to be, but most people are unaware that I am so much more than what they see.

“Is- Probably not. There are a lot of productive things that I could be doing with my time, so I’m thinking of minoring in dance and going for Political Science or something. Ideally I’d end up on the forefront of a not-for-profit,” Jack explained, only half sure of herself. “Yes, The Nutcracker. Every studio does that once a year. You’ve been?”
“Ah, okay! Political science...so you can be like, the first female president or something. I could totally see it!” Anya smiled. “Yeah, that’s it! I went with my mom a few years ago. The music was like, super pretty. And the dancing, obvs.”

writersblock: coffee is pretty good. an addiction really.
writersblock: NYU is very difficult to get into. And the theater program and even writing programs are terribly competitive. it's not that I don't think I can get in them, it's just they are a bitch to go for, and my chances of failing is more than my succeeding. playwriting is huge actually. any good movie is created by a good playwright, you don't have to just write plays, it can be movies, which essentially what i suppose i would want to do. no college? what do you want to do?
writersblock: well smart girl. next time you have to ask for his phone number, and share it with me. well maybe i'll camp out in more coffee shops.
stargirl836: it is! ugh you understand me
stargirl836: I figured that, but it's still doable. I mean look at how many students attend there. I'm sure you're talented enough to get in...then again, I've never read any of your work, but you seem literate enough *laughing emoji*
stargirl836: which program are you leaning towards? and yeah, i guess it's just not talked about as much; but it's true, i'm sure there's many playwrights who sadly get their scripts rejected by production companies, we only really hear about the successful ones. well, you could always major in film as well if that's what you're interested in. that sort of program would probably cover script-writing as well, and the differences between film, TV, theatre, all that stuff. and honestly i have no idea. i have certain things that interest me, but nothing really enough to think "this is what i wanna do for a living." it kind of scares me. i don't know what to do.
stargirl836: hahaha will do ;) and you should, you never know who you might see.
degrassicam:
“That’s pretty awesome.”
“Thanks, Cam! I’m so glad you think so too!”

writersblock: i suppose that's true. some of the best things are cliche, and they aren't bad.
writersblock: it has been for years, honestly, i am probably stringing myself along, i don't even have a backup school. writing mostly. i'm stuck on being an author a something theatrical. what about you? college in the future?
writersblock: i know for a fact that i am not the first to ever get high in nyc, or surprise high, but it was a hoot
writersblock: tell me you got a picture at least! an autograph? maybe his phone number?
stargirl836: yeah, like coffee. coffee is super cliche yet it's amazing. no idea how that was the first thing to come to mind, but it's true.
stargirl836: oh come on, don't sell yourself short. what makes you think NYU is out of your reach? i mean yeah it might be a good idea to have a backup just in case, but if you put most of your efforts into your NYC app you should have a better chance of getting in. hmmm, so playwriting is your thing? interesting. that's not so common. at least not that i know of. and yeah, i'm aiming to go to college...but i actually don't even know where i wanna go or what i wanna do yet...probably a bad thing, i know.
stargirl836: oh yeah, of course i got a picture and an autograph. phone number? eh, i didn't wanna overstep any boundaries, but he did say he hoped he'd run into me in another coffee shop someday! i said i'd totally take him up on that. now i just have to visit all of the cafes in the world. shouldn't be too hard, right?
ziggynovak:
“Yeah, like Zig Zag. Or Zigmund. Which is my full name actually…I guess it’s interesting I mean, it’s different for sure. – No need because you’re a plastic and I’m a reject. I’m irrelevant to you.”
“What’s Zigmund?” She blinked in confusion before saying “Oh! Okay. Well yeah, I guess you’re right. But us plastics have to know who the rejects are to know who to avoid, duh. So like, now I know you.”
neverlookjack:
“Ten years? I don’t know. I’ve been dancing since I was a kid, so it all sort of builds up. The practice,” Jack explained. “Uh, but seriously, don’t try to do that.”
“Is that what you want to do as a career? Like, dance?” Anya didn’t mean to come off sounding rude, so she added, “You know, ballet dancers always get to be in shows like, you know, the one with the giant mouse and the wooden man thing. Right?”
huntinghollingsworths:
oh uh… the party yesterday. some girl handed me a bunch of shoes before the police came. They’re very pretty shoes though ”
“Oh! In that case, thank you. I would’ve died if I lost these shoes for good.”
neverlookjack:
“’Kay. Thankfully I stretched earlier, so- You just want to see the demonstration. Right.” Jack grabbed a chair and carefully inched herself into the (Impressive?) split, using the chair for support. “Doesn’t feel fantastic, but there you go.”
Anya watched, her eyes widening as the girl performed the neat trick. “Wow, that looks painful! But very cool. How long did it take you to learn that?”
“So while cleaning up last night I found a bunch of shoes. You don’t happen to be missing a pair do you?”
“Oh em gee how did you know? Wait, how did you get my shoes?”
vanessathompson:
Yes! I need to update my shoe collection ASAP. When were you guys thinking of going? Anya…That’s the city’s nickname. It’s because of the night life, not because of fruit. You didn’t really.. you know what I don’t even wanna know. I’m thinking about it.I have some family there so it would be an easy move, but that’s a next year worry. Look at you being Ms.Outdoors. Thought the only thing you hiked was the stairs to the top floor of the Mall. I’m so jealous! You’ve all got one year left an I’m gonna be stuck with these rejects.
You know I’m always down to get new shoes! Especially some heels to wear to all of the parties coming up. How about this weekend? Oh...wait, what does night life have to do with big apples? That makes like, zero sense. But if you say so. That’s nice! I think having people you know there always makes it more comfortable and easier to adjust. Oh my gosh no, hiking I was not a fan of. But I didn’t have much of a choice, so I just figured I’d be getting in some good exercise! Right, I can’t even believe it myself, but I’m sure you’ll keep everyone in line once we graduate. And it’s only the beginning of the year! It’ll be like, forever from now!
degrassicam:
“Huh, you were surpringly right. But how do you know? Do you get a tingly feeling or something?”
“Of course I was! Well, it’s really just intuition. I just know. Simple as that.”
