Outings.
Tsumugu had been going about his day, doing things he normally would. It had started to feel like a routine, especially now that he was on his own. So far, the days had dragged by, people and places blurring in his memory as he staggered through life.
Eventually, he had all but given up on finding something exciting to do, and he knew he was sometimes talked about for his mostly blank expression. Sighing to himself as he went through another day, he walked to the library and walked in, looking around at the cases and rows of books. The smell of old paper, ink, and candles filled his nostrils and he smiled, his body relaxing instantly.
The library was always a good place when he couldn't see the sea, so he headed off to the rows of books, finding one before attempting to scoot in and bumping shoulders with someone trying to grab a book where he stood.
"Ah, sorry." The words were soft, dull, but dark hues quickly shifted over and he bowed some.
