Stuff going on in my personal life that I don't feel like sharing publicly, but it is Going. This year is a lot of interesting things for me. I cannot wait to have a good routine again, whenever that may be. 😭

At least I can relax a little at fanfest, altho even that has me stressed on if I have enough time to do everything I want to do 😂 I'll take it one day at a time.

Feeling my age when I am unreasonably excited to try and go to an estate sale because I saw an absolutely gorgeous coffee table that I MUST HAVE. But the price won't be disclosed unless you go in person, and I'm scared it's going to be sooo expensive. 😭 But I must try.... there are some smaller items I saw that I also want that are most certainly more in my budget. Can I haggle at an estate sale? 😂

I'm preparing my heart to be disappointed when someone else snags the table before I even get there. But I will go as soon as they open!! I'm making my schedule work!!

Month long hiatus!

I generally take a month "off" every year to enjoy my work in solitude, remember why I really enjoy what I do, and recharge my social battery. Normally I wouldn't announce it, but with everything going on I didn't want anyone to think something bad happened (US). It does have me reconsidering some of my upcoming travel plans though, haha...

I have no promises on if I'll have any art to share! My one goal is to play more Dragon Age :) I finished DA Origins and Awakening and am doing the extra dlc before I head into 2! I may also try random progging Pilgrim's Traverse 70+ because I want 3 more clears for the mount lol

I'll be logged out of my usual haunts like Tumblr and Bsky. This will also extend to my side Discord that I use for gaming groups / comm work. Anyone I need to stay in contact with should already have avenues of communicating with me outside of that.

Feel free to still send me messages, just be aware I won't see them for a month! 😂

I must stop acquiring more hobbies that cost money... I was fondly remembering how fund carving a lino block is and they have all-you-need kits for 20-25 dollars just for a one time thing... but then what if I want to do a layered print? With different colors? 🤔

I should focus on uhh learning more guitar scales, crocheting more of my jumper sleeves, and learning new wire wrapping techniques. And reading LOL but that's something I do right before bed time now in place of doom scrolling. Super cool I can just check out library books straight onto my kobo!!

With the rise of automated Everything and also distancing myself from big fandom spaces to cultivate deeper, richer connections with fewer people, I've found myself with a lot more time to just. Do stuff! Highly recommend.
