Family Care Hospital was established in October 2007 as a BOI approved project. We are located 4km away from Kalutara Bodiya, in front of the General Hospital Kalutara. Our hospital is the largest private hospital situated outside Colombo metropolitan area. Our highly qualified medical professionals render the best services at an affordable price with a holistic approach towards the individual. Family Care Hospital is the pioneers of introducing EMR (Electronic Medical Record keeping System) in Sri Lanka. This enables us to maintain complete Electronic Medical Records of each individual patient. We are the first hospital to issue digital computerized ECG and EEG records. We are again pioneers in Electronic Personal Health Record System (Sri Lankan PHR) to Sri Lanka. It was appreciated in e-Swabhimani 2012 under E- Health category. We were selected as a best innovative health solutions (as a finalist) in Manthan Award 2013. We are mainly conducting 24 hour emergency service with theater facilities. We have modern art medical laboratory, X ray facility, and all the ultrasound based testing facility. Our major strength is dedicated medical team which includes all the major specialty consultants. Our emergency service is accompanied with modern art ambulance service too. We mainly cater to the people around Kalutara district and costal region which include costal bed from Moratuwa to Galle. We have emergency ward, 24 luxury rooms, two operation theaters, two Labour rooms and all the investigation facilities. Our hospital accepts most of the Insurance Cards, Master and Visa Card. You can consult doctors in almost all specialties and can book appointments over the phone without additional charge. This is a new service we are going to start from next 11th of October as a part of celebration of 7th anniversary of Family Care Hospital. This service is mainly dedicated for young people who are more health conscious.
