Bethany stood in her living room, sighing softly as she was told by her friend to stand there and wait. She didn't know why she was doing this, she just wanted to go home. As she was standing there, she heard her doorbell ring, went to open it, and froze. Her eyes widened as she covered her mouth, tears welling in her eyes as she saw Mark standing there. "Mark...? Puppy...?" Her voice cracked, shocked he was there in front of her. She sniffled, trembling as she wanted to hug him.

Mark’s ears twitched, he nervously fiddled with his fingers as he was waiting for Bethany to answer, his tail wagged in excitement on seeing the door open up. The hybrid felt his heart pounce a little on Beth’s reaction, she looked happy! Amazed almost! Mark let tears start to prickle out of his eyesockets.

“Bethy!! Master!” He responded and wrapped his arms around Beth, pulling her close to himself and squeezed her tight as he started to give quiet purrs out of him.

Sniffling and trembling, she held him tightly, burying her face into his shoulder.

“Mark, it’s you! I can’t believe it’s you. Where have you been? I was so worried!” She held his face, her thumb gently trailing across his cheek as she kissed his forehead lovingly.

“I couldn’t find you anywhere! I came home from work a-and you were gone. I called everywhere and no one had seen you, I walked a 3 mile radius around the house and neighborhood in hopes to find you, I-I even put up signs and posts on the internet. I was worried you were hurt, or sick, or in danger, I….I….”

Bethany hugged him tightly, not wanting to let him go.

Mark's memory could not think of much from what happened, the question indeed was; what DID happened to him? The hybrid had to calm Beth down first and let her give loving kisses, it made a smile crack on his face while, his tail continued to wag fast up and down.

Listening to Beth's explanation and of how her voice was breaking made him feel bad, it made his fluffy ears flatten a tad bit.

"I d-don't know what really happened to me.. but, I am here now! You don't have to worry anymore!" He softly whispered, letting low purrs bubble out of his throat. Mark lightly let go from the embrace to not squish Beth.

Raven straightened his back once he heard an unknown noise coming from within the house he way staying in currently. It was supposed to be abandonned, right? But maybe someone as left here…

He was rather quick to stand up. He walked around, listening for even the slightest movement and sniffinf the air. It wasn’t long until he got the smell, following it.

“Hello? Who are you? I promise I won’t hurt you,” he called itno the darkness.

“I’ll do this as gently as I can,” the ghoul promised, looking Mark over with a slight frown. Well, this is going to be fun, hopefully he won’t accidentally hurt him even more…

He started with the joints which were twisted the most, so they could get over the worst part quickly. He apologized every so often, knowing how uncomfortable this must be to the other male.

Mark gave little whimpers and squeamish squeaks, he was starting to shake under Raven's grip. It hurt but he knew, Raven did not mean it. Well, he hoped that he didn't mean it, the apoligising was a hint off it.

"OW-Owie!" The hybrid whined, giving off another whimper as he let his tail wag up and down, letting it slap on the ground, it hasn't hurt or anything. It was something his tail did because of how much it hurt.

Mark was alone, well thought that he was alone. It was as if nobody lived inside of this household. It probably would be either his best friend and best loved friend was asleep or wasn't home. He could do alot of stuff! Like running around the house !! Yeah, that's (not) a good idea! He began to run around inside of the house, loud noises coming from the living room and eventually he began to knock things over, making louder noises come from the room. A loud crash echoed throughout the room.

Dark was knocked out cold for most of the time when Mark decided to turn the house into his own playground. The nightshifts were making him more and more exhausted. Maybe he should finally find a job…

He woke up only to the soud of the loud crash, sitting up straight and wiping the sleep from his eyes as he was rushing downstairs. “Is everything okay?” he called raspily.

The demon flushed the toilet and was rinsing his mouth when he heard a knock on the door. He spat the water before finally speaking. “I’m alright, don’t worry.”

Unfortunately, his voice was telling otherwise; it was weak and shaky, and his head felt dizzy since he got up from the floor probably way too fast. Why was he feeling this weak all of the sudden? He was just fine two days ago!

He moved inside of the room, closing the door behind himself as he stepped closer forward towards Dark, this poor soul.. Mark let his animalistic ears lower down, placing a hand on Dark’s back and rubbing his back in little circling-motions.
