Dear followers,
I cannot believe that I have been here for over two years now (neither can Steve!), and with that more followers than I ever could have imagined having. The constant love and joy I receive here is incredible, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else than right here with you all. Two years, two URL’s, and thousands of followers later, here we are, and I’m ready to give back some of what you have given me. I honestly thought that I would never have another muse after my Jane, but with so much love and support, how could I not? You have helped me with my fundraiser, shown me love for my writing, and cheered me on when I needed it most. More than followers, you’re all the family I wish I had. Now, I’ll stop being sappy and get to the good stuff!

Granted, she'd just spend near an hour prying glass out of his hand, and so his silence was perhaps rude. Yet talking to her was something he deemed unnecessary as they had nothing to say to each other. Or, at least, he had nothing to say to her. She talked and talked and talked. A rather severe glare or two had quieted her for a time, and the pain was bearable. He'd certainly experienced worse. The brightly coloured bandages now stuck to his palm - featuring some feline with a need to greet every one and every thing - pulled and tugged at the torn up skin, but apparently she had nothing better upon her person, and it would have to wait until Foster or some one else with enough alleged authority to get something better returned. Frankly, the horrid pink and yellow colours just made his mood sour, and so this apparently prompted some display of false affection from Lewis that would achieve some strange heal-all magic. Upon finishing her work at ensuring he wouldn't bleed to death, her painted lips pressed against the palm of his hand swiftly, some brightness in her voice as she exclaimed it would be 'all better'. He highly doubted that, and so sloped off to be just as silent elsewhere. He'd leave her to clean up the shattered glass from the rather unfortunate incident with the door by herself.

In a shallow pool of water, yet he can’t move. Stuck there, crying out into the noise. Squealing, shrieking. And he’s dead.The gasp that hit his lungs was of such force that all breath from that point was a struggle, frantic to prove he was indeed alive. The dark of his chambers concealed most with shadow, the silver of the Asgardian moon casting it about in all directions. Her silhouette, just visible in the soft light, he sat up to stare. Arms reached for her, even, yet hardly voluntarily. Breathing too hard. Shaking. His ribs hurt from the effort, but he couldn’t stop. He couldn’t just stop breathing. Choked sobs. Help. Sif knew that Loki didn’t exactly enjoy himself around Thor and their other friends. That they were loud and rough and obnoxious and essentially everything that Loki was not. Of course the older she got the more time she spent out of the palace, on missions or adventures which meant the less time she spent spending these quiet moments with Loki and it wasn’t until they were back like this that she realised just how much she had missed it.
There was no denying that there were times that Loki could be mean, that his pranks and mischief sometimes bordered on cruel but Thor could be an arrogant pig. Sif considered it somewhat of a skill of hers to see past peoples flaws.
She watched with interest as he twisted the flowers together and laughed softly as it floated through the air and came to rest in her hair. She stood up, at his words and pretended to curtsy. He was teasing but it was certainly no insult. Sif would rather him cut off all her hair again than ever be considered a lady of the court.
It was true that in strength and battle lust she most resembled Thor but in her quick wit, mischievousness and her skill for strategy she found much in common with Loki as well. She enjoyed spending time with him, enjoyed his cleverness and while he was smarter than her and liked to make that known, she knew he appreciated someone who came at least close to it, someone who wasn’t his mother. “A lady who can’t dance, who won’t wear dresses and who often turns up to dinner with dirt on her nose. I am not sure the others would be so accepting, beautiful crown or not.” She said with a laugh as she sat back down.
Though he was regarded as so icy, so unsociable by most, it was perhaps because they held little knowledge of moments like these. When he thawed considerably, some small, bloody piece of his heart exposed among the planes of frost. If he'd have known what this was, perhaps it might have hurt him more. But no, any possibility that it could be anything like that had never really been thought of in any realistic manner. Because it never would be, she could never- Her playing along with his teasing and his games only served to make him all the more pleased with himself. Some satisfied smirk crept it's way across his lips, and arms folded across his chest in some mildly self-important manner. A laugh, even. Something pleasant, though it was quiet. Her own laugh was light enough for the both of them, Loki had little to add. As she described herself, however, his smile fell from a smirk into something if a little more genuine. Arms became unfolded, The Trickster staring up at her. Emerald gaze greeting hers, focused hazel. It followed as she took up her seat again, him leaning forward in his own. Eye to eye. Soft voice gave way to quiet mutterings that were indeed full of promise and sincerity. Rare for him, but always with her. Always. "A lady who spends her time practicing skill in the noble art of a good fight rather than dancing. Who wears entirely what she likes, or else others can save their breath. And who still looks rather charming with dirt on her nose, if I may say so. I'm rather sure they'd accept you regardless."
