I just want to recognize this women right here! Kathy Ellefson.. “Elle” in high school she guided me through the culinary program and really introduced me into the kitchen life. She pushed me to learn, lead, and listen. I have so much respect for the people in this world that teach and inspire the next generation to do great things. I appreciate the time she took to stay after school those many hours to help us practice for @prostartprogram culinary Competitions. Thank you Elle for coming to the @charlieawards To support me in his dream. She got me Kitchen shoes when I couldn’t afford them, cookbooks, Chef jackets and so on. She brought a @theculinaryinstituteofamerica representative to our high school and that’s where I continued my education. Much of the life I live now I owe to the push that I received in high school from the wonderful people around me. To become better, surround yourselves around people who are better, smarter and stronger than you. We can only do so much alone.. with the power and inspiration from those around us and our personal willpower.. nothing is impossible.. dream big, No limits. #blessed #mentors #bigdream #chefslife #morningvibes

5 years ago I partnered up with a girl I thought would always be that girl from a far. The girl I would creepily run into at the gym and “coincidently” join the same clubs on campus.
