i’ve been crying for two days because i found out my mom has breast cancer on top of her MS and ‘‘the best day’‘ has always been our song so i’m listening to it as a source of comfort and i wish taylor knew how big of a friend she is to us when we are lost and think the world is so meaningless and cruel.

she will never read this and i can’t possibly be active enough on here because of real life obligations but i just had to say all this because her voice, presence and art does matters more than words could ever say. so grateful to have her in my life ever since 2006. thank you for giving us the best human to look up to for guidance in the good and bad times. appreciate you so much. @tree-paine @taylornation

to think that there is a chance, as small as it is, of you ever seeing this is overwhelming. there is so much i want to tell you that i could never put it all into words because you make me feel things that i can’t explain. my love for you started when i was a teenager. back then, my parents liked to go camping and i would spend all of my summer there. when you’re a teenager away from all of your friends and basically civilization, it kind of sucked. of course, there were good moments, starting with the moment i first heard you on the radio. my family and i are big country fans and we would play various music around the fire at night and that’s when i heard TIM MCGRAW and my heart started racing because not only is this song pure heaven for the ears but a girl almost my age was into the same things as me. that was the first time i bonded with you through music and then, i forced my dad to take me to walmart to buy the album and I’ve been obsessed ( in the most loving, non creepy, way with you ever since ). the first time i saw you in concert was when you came to montreal for the SPEAK NOW tour. back then, I honestly thought that everyone with a sign was meeting you after the show and i worked countless of hours on a ‘HEY TAYLOR, HERE’S 50 REASONS WHY YOU ARE THE ONE I CHOSED’  scrapbook that I intended on giving to you that night. of course, all of my dreams were crushed when the not so nice security guards refused to even deliver said book to you but, at the same time, i felt so alive because i’d finally saw my favorite person in real life. the next time you came here was for the 1989 tour and so I tried to make something special and did a sign with your favorite emojis to make you laugh which you did when you were right above me during LOVE STORY and sang to me and my best friend pictured above, roxanne, smiling and waving at us. you looked so happy. i just remember the tears rolling down my cheeks, knowing that you’d never know how this simple moment had meant to us. i’ve always been known as the taylor swift girl. my dad always forgets the names of celebrities ( except his all time favorites rihanna and justin timberlake tbh ) and, of course, the girl that I remind him of because i’m tall and dorky: the iconic taylor alison swift. speaking of which, random fact: you’re the reason why I learned to embrace how tall I am. before you, I felt so awkward and weird and then I realized that you know what? so what if I’m tall? the people making fun of that are the same ones who buy crazy high heels now, ha! :) i just have so much more to tell you and my dream is to finally hug you in my arms ( and take a picture with a women that is as tall as me that NEVER happens… jk but not really lmao ). i wanna add a thank you for UNTOUCHABLE. that song, your voice, the melody, has been my source of comfort when i get anxious and have panic attacks. i also got a FEARLESS tattoo as a reminder to stay strong and keep going when life gets hard and, more recently, DANCING WITH OUR HANDS TIED came at a time where i came out as bisexual and it’s just a song that represents that to me so much. finally, thank you for being the reason why i met my german bestie, steffi, over 10 years ago because of our love for you. she’s my rock and i couldn’t live without the taylor to my selena. to think that there is a chance, as small as it is, of you ever seeing this is overwhelming. there is so much i want to tell you that i could never put it all into words because you make me feel things that i can’t explain. my love for you started when i was a teenager. back then, my parents liked to go camping and i would spend all of my summer there. when you’re a teenager away from all of your friends and basically civilization, it kind of sucked. of course, there were good moments, starting with the moment i first heard you on the radio. my family and i are big country fans and we would play various music around the fire at night and that’s when i heard TIM MCGRAW and my heart started racing because not only is this song pure heaven for the ears but a girl almost my age was into the same things as me. that was the first time i bonded with you through music and then, i forced my dad to take me to walmart to buy the album and I’ve been obsessed ( in the most loving, non creepy, way with you ever since ). the first time i saw you in concert was when you came to montreal for the SPEAK NOW tour. back then, I honestly thought that everyone with a sign was meeting you after the show and i worked countless of hours on a ‘HEY TAYLOR, HERE’S 50 REASONS WHY YOU ARE THE ONE I CHOSED’  scrapbook that I intended on giving to you that night. of course, all of my dreams were crushed when the not so nice security guards refused to even deliver said book to you but, at the same time, i felt so alive because i’d finally saw my favorite person in real life. the next time you came here was for the 1989 tour and so I tried to make something special and did a sign with your favorite emojis to make you laugh which you did when you were right above me during LOVE STORY and sang to me and my best friend pictured above, roxanne, smiling and waving at us. you looked so happy. i just remember the tears rolling down my cheeks, knowing that you’d never know how this simple moment had meant to us. i’ve always been known as the taylor swift girl. my dad always forgets the names of celebrities ( except his all time favorites rihanna and justin timberlake tbh ) and, of course, the girl that I remind him of because i’m tall and dorky: the iconic taylor alison swift. speaking of which, random fact: you’re the reason why I learned to embrace how tall I am. before you, I felt so awkward and weird and then I realized that you know what? so what if I’m tall? the people making fun of that are the same ones who buy crazy high heels now, ha! :) i just have so much more to tell you and my dream is to finally hug you in my arms ( and take a picture with a women that is as tall as me that NEVER happens… jk but not really lmao ). i wanna add a thank you for UNTOUCHABLE. that song, your voice, the melody, has been my source of comfort when i get anxious and have panic attacks. i also got a FEARLESS tattoo as a reminder to stay strong and keep going when life gets hard and, more recently, DANCING WITH OUR HANDS TIED came at a time where i came out as bisexual and it’s just a song that represents that to me so much. finally, thank you for being the reason why i met my german bestie, steffi, over 10 years ago because of our love for you. she’s my rock and i couldn’t live without the taylor to my selena. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD and GET READY FOR A VERY COOL SIGN THAT YOU’RE GONNA LOVE :)   with love, kim.
