Box modeling is definitely more challenging than it looks. I just completed the Press Start tutorial from CGCookie and it took me longer than expected to follow along. I had to pause and replay some of the instructions, and don't even get me started on Shader nodes - they were so confusing! But in the end, I finally got it done. This exercise taught me a lot, and I'm sure the skills I learned will carry over into my own models. I even picked up some cool new tools like fill and bevel weights. Looking forward to mastering shaders and tackling more challenging projects.
Just finished another polygon runway tutorial and while it was a bit confusing, I pushed through and completed it. I have to admit, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. It was my first time working with Blender particles, so it was a new experience for me. While it was challenging, I'm still proud that I took on something new and expanding my skillset a bit. Looking forward to my next practice and what it will bring.
Just wrapped up another 3D tutorial, this time by the talented 3D artist Sarah. I had really enjoyed following this tutorial. It was great to have some fun while learning. I even noticed my speed improving as I got more comfortable with the process. Can't wait to keep pushing myself and learning new things.
Just finished another 3D tutorial and feeling like I'm getting a better hang of things. I have to admit, I still haven't quite figured out lighting, but I'm determined to tackle it soon. This latest tutorial was a bit challenging because there was a lot happening in a short amount of time, but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and finishing strong.
Just finished up my second 3D tutorial, courtesy of Polygon Runway. While I wasn't entirely satisfied with my final render, the tutorial made the 3D modeling process so easy to follow. I've realized I still have a lot to learn about lighting and rendering in 3D space, but I'm eager to keep practicing and improving my skills.
Just finished following this Blender 3D tutorial by Grant Abbit. It feels great to be back into the swing of things after a long hiatus. Can't wait to see what else I can create this year.
I'm a mouse, Duh! One of my favourite characters 🤣
