Sophie Turner told her closest friends the ending of the show and now locals are pissed, going off about how she’s a blabbermouth, stupid and annoying just like her character. Pushing aside the fact that this hate towards the actress is completely irrational because other people involved in the show must have surely done the same, the fact that people see Sansa as any of these things just goes to show how don’t really pay attention to the show. Sansa has never messed up by spilling too much information. Even as she was abused intensely and even publicly, she still kept her cards close, remained rational and continued with her pretence of loving Joffrey. The only time she revealed important information to someone else is when she told the Tyrells how horrible Joffrey is, and she did that in order to help another woman who was going to be in a similar dangerous position that she was in before. Also, if she hadn’t done that, then Joffrey would have been poisoned. Then, people are calling her stupid, which is completely ridiculous because the show went out of its way to showcase how intelligent she is. She navigated the King’s Lansing court like an expert, she knew how to manage the ladies and elders perfectly as the battle at Blackwater was raging, she managed to manipulate the lords of the Vale as if they were puppets, she immediately adapted to her horrible situation with Ramsey at Winterfell, she sparkled the idea of a Northern Rebellion and actively won the Battle Of The Bastards, and she has ruled the North extremely well, to the point that most of the lords there prefer her as their leader because she’s that good. Littlefinger called her intelligent at multiple instance in the show, and even Tyrion and Jon talked about how smart she is. Also, the fact that people think that Sansa is annoying irks me. How dare she be a traditionally feminine teenage girl that acts her age and does what is expected of her as a child. How dare she become an astute confident young woman who makes her voice be heard when its the time to talk about the future of the kingdom she bled for. You punish her for being soft-spoken and you punish her for being hard-spoken. Anyways, all in all, Sansa Stark is incredibly intelligent and extremely likeable, and her actress is too.
