I close my eyes. A feeling of content overshadows my desperate need to know. Cani fly? why do i ask myself this? I open my eyes and the heavy doubt creeps into my feelings. fuck….. I stand on this small area of land surrounded by dark polluted by water. the sky filled with black and red and the winds blowing so intensely that its raining sideways, but none of this horrible weather effects me at all, but the crowd of people that are on the otherside of this ocean do. They look at me as if theyre witnessing a murder…. There is no room to walk where i stand. No room to hide my face. I think about closing my eyes when suddenly the earth shakes from under me. I stay calm, but i still feel panicked. The earth rages for three seconds and then, it stops…. A vision so clear pierces through my thoughts. My purpose becomes simple. The water catches my attention, Animals the size of my hand crawl from the shore to my feet. I feel as if they want this new feeling of clarity that i now know. I kneel to pick up a tiger, but when i do it is only sand and it falls between my fingers. I gaze towards the horizon and see a great tree and i feel deep within my heart, that tree is where i want to be. i look to the sky that is now clear and i feel my wings trying to reach it’s great light. I look at the people and then the great tree past them and close my eyes. I feel her. she is with me. she is hope. I leap and im in the air…. she didnt fail me. I am free I am Alive. I am hope.
