A Spell for Bringing About Consequences

“The complete freedom.

The lack of consequence.

It terrifies you.”

This spell is for those situations where one person or another has gone on too long without their actions having proper consequences.

Perhaps that person you know has been slowly stealing from the place you work for yet despite all evidence just cannot seem to be caught. Perhaps a pot-stirrer who never seems to be affected by the rumours they spread. Perhaps you when for some time it feels like your actions have no effect on the world.

This spell is for reacquainting them with the world, where every action has an equal and opposite reaction. No one can live in a sand box forever, free from consequence; everyone must come home at some point and face up to what they have done or reap the rewards of their training.

“Life has become out of focus, free of consequence.”

You will need:

A sword (/knife/letter opener)

A representation of your target*

Utter faith that every action must have a consequence

Empathy for your target^

A bowl

A rainy day

*Try and get some hair of theirs in it, A photo or poppet will do, or you can capture their reflection (get their reflection in a charmed mirror and then cover it up until it is needed). A signature also, or just their name will do in a pinch probably if that’s all you have. n.B. if the target is you, you don’t need a representation.

^This is an “ultimate good” sort of spell, or a “world order” spell if you prefer that wording. The results may or may not be pleasant, but it is not healthy for either the individual or the society for someone to live outside of consequence. You are doing what is best for them by bringing them back.

“All at once, the consequences. All at once you are no longer free.”

When it is raining, go outside with your sword, bowl and representation. Somewhere private is best. Place the bowl down where it will fill up with rain. Place the representation down and point your sword at it. If you are the target, CAREFULLY hold the blade between your palms, tip pointing towards your forehead. Say the following, replacing “you” with “me” and “your” with “my” as necessary:

Every action has a reaction. Every move has a consequence.

As this rain wets me, so shall the consequences fall on you.

No more shall you have the complete freedom to do anything in this life;

No more shall you live apart from the cycle of action and reaction;

No more shall your actions have no effect on the world or be unaffected by it.

Pick up the bowl in your other hand. If you are holding the sword towards your forehead, put it down first (also do so if you can’t hold the bowl steady in one hand). Hold it above the representation, or your head. Say:

As this water falls on your head, so shall you feel the effects of your actions.

The consequences are inescapable.

So be it.

Pour the collected rainwater on the representation, or your head. Don’t miss.

Over the coming weeks the consequences that seem to have been lacking will all come around.

Nontraditional Baneful Work (1)

For the hardcore crystal witch:

Specific harm

On a very sunny day, write on paper: "[Name Of Enemy] will [experience a great misfortune] before [date]" or similar, or use a sigil. Take a sphere of quartz, hold above the paper, and allow the sun to stream through it until the victim's name is scorched from the paper.

Harm in love

Write their name on a slip of paper. On another, write "your/their heart will not find love", similar, or use a sigil. Wrap in cloth or tinfoil with a piece of rose quartz. Unwrap to release.

(Even if you do not cleanse your crystals, I would recommend doing so after using them as described above)

For the elemental witch:

General harm

Create a vial of strong sun water, then "corrupt" with a pinch of pepper or a splash of red dye. On paper, write the name of your victim, and cast them into the vial. Shake vigorously to expedite.

Productivity-related harm

Cast a small item taken from your victim into a vial of ocean water. They now feel as if they are drowning in their responsibilities. Pour out to release.

There are always alternatives to the risk of pickpocketing items on and off of people, but this is a method I have always had success with.

For the nature witch:

Long-term harm

Healthy acorns sink in water, while rotten ones will float (most of the time). Take a floating acorn and and whisper to it its purpose. Sneak it into your victim's belongings and let it take root.

Bad luck

Paint the name of your victim in water on a maple leaf. Place the maple leaf under the candlestick of a black candle and let burn for as long as you like. Negative energy, including that of any standing hexes against you, will be captured and sent on to your victim, even if they are its originator.

(All are based on my own research, practice, experience, and theory. I encourage you to modify these for your own use if I have inspired you.)

Keep My Name Out Of Your Fucking Mouth ~ Binding curse

Howdy y'all! I was dealing with some bullshit that I would rather not deal with but a las, here I am. Anyways, did a little thing and thought I'd share for anyone who has to work with absolute vain, dumb pieces of shit like me. Please excuse how cringe the writing is, I really let my 13 year old emo me run wild with this but it felt fantastic to cast. As always, when cursing and hexing please make sure you stay safe. Ground yourself before hand, cleanse yourself after, don't damage yourself just to get one over on someone else. Happy casting.

Ingredients:

your rage

a black candle(ideally taper but a tealight or whatever will do just fine)

twine(so they feel like they're suffocating)

a sharp utensil or needle to carve said candle

Steps:

Carve the target's name into the black taper candle with the needle . Put a circle around their name and a giant X over the circle. This is to symbolize a bound mouth.

Wrap the candle with twine, visualizing the person being bound and silenced. Please practice fire safety. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED. Keep in a safe dish or simply opt out of the twine if you know you don't want to sit there the whole time.

Light the black taper and say the incantation below. Let the candle burn down completely or fully past the engraving, focusing on your intent throughout the process.

Dispose of any left over remnants in a way that suits you. Throw it in the trash, a curse box, your jobs dumpster, just be eco-friendly please.

Incantation:

"May your lies and slander turn to dust,

In your mouth, words of me shall rust.

When you speak, the twine constrains,

Your words of me, bound in chains.

Feel the pressure, feel the strain,

Each attempt will be in vain.

By this candle, black as pitch,

Your mouth shall twitch, your tongue shall stitch.

Silence now, hold your breath,

Forget Me Not

A curse full of regrets made with no regrets

Materials

A poppet or representation of target

A jar or container big enough to contain the poppet

Rose petals

Strips of paper

A pen

Candles

Preparation

Pre-make poppet (this is a curse poppet so please make accordingly). On each strip of paper (and there should be a large amount) write “Forget me not.”

Performance

Have all of your supplies on your workspace.

If you usually cast a circle, do so now.

Light however many candles you want to. They’re mainly for dramatic effect.

Kiss the poppet (sweetly, if you can manage).

Now place it into the container. With each line you say, place a strip of the paper you wrote on into the container with it.

Forget me not

Forget me never.

You will regret this mistake

Now and forever.

Cross me once.

Cross me twice.

Now that you have,

You’ll see I’m not so nice.

I whisper to you nothing sweet.

I whisper to you nothing kind.

But you’ll always remember me.

I shan’t fade with time.

You had me once.

You had my favor.

You threw me away.

Now not even the gods can help this be over.

Forget me not.

Forget me never.

You’ll remember me

And regret forever.

Once this is done, close and seal the container. I recommend doing something like blowing the buried poppet one last kiss before doing so. It will never be opened again unless you want to break the curse.

If you cast a circle, close it now.

Put the container somewhere hidden or throw it away. I do not recommend breaking this curse.

This curse has been performed and has worked.

I read a recommendation to learn about curses as a beginning witch. I don’t recommend that anyone perform curses on anyone, but here is one I have read on Tumblr.

Forget-me-nots can also be used for spells that aren’t curses:

If your love is traveling or separated from you for long periods of time, be sure to do this Forget-Me-Not Spell so he or she will remember

Ghost Hex

A devious hex that causes the target to become the victim of an unsettled spirit's torment. This spirit will be attached to them and once done, this hex is difficult to undo.

Needed:

• Bowl

• 1 tsp red pepper

• 1tsp poppy seeds

• Black cloth (one piece, enough to cover the inside of the bowl)

• Small dish

• 3 tsp salt or 5 quartz crystals

Instructions:

Line the inside of the bowl with black cloth and add the red pepper and poppy flakes. Place the bowl on the South end of the altar space (closest to you). Place the small dish in the center of the altar space, place the salt/quartz around the dish in a circle, then fill it with water. Visualize a white light emanating from the small dish, protecting you; then chant: "Your power is useless, my defenses are not down, and I shall not be moved or turned around". For the bowl containing the cloth and herbs, imagine black ash pouring outward from within the bowl. Imagine it building up more and more, you may even begin to smell smoke and/or feel hot/cold/tingling sensations, now imagine the source of the ash coming up from the bowl. Recite the following incantation: "Hexiaus, Drexious, Amen", then say your target's full name 3 times. Finally, imagine the ash mass flying upward and away to your target and the white light consuming your home and being, purifying it of any negative energy. The ritual is now complete.

based on my original recipe for stardust powder, this recipe is meant to be used for baneful acts of magic such as curses and hexes.

ingredients:

sea salt

black glitter (environmentally friendly, of course)

wormwood - to cause strife and misfortune to a target

small jar

instructions:

combine the ingredients and grind together using a mortar and pestle 

add the mixture to a small jar and seal

leave in the path of starlight to charge overnight

use in spell jars, poppets, or other magical rituals

warning: handle wormwood with care - do not sprinkle on the ground where pets or small children may have access to it, and if you decide to burn this powder in any way, do so outside where it’s well ventilated.

My Very Evil Plan

I was taking a shower and then came up with this brilliant plan to bewitch my opps by creating a Death Note, but more tame.

This invention I call: the uhhhhh-- the Black List.

There! Intimidating-sounding, but does not necessarily imply death. The Black List. You can tweak it to make it specifically for death, go ahead. Don't come to me when you done klLL somebody, tho.

So, basically what I'm thinking is:

• Assortment of Baneful Herbs. Unless you're tryna eradicate a mfer, I'd suggest leaning towards stuff that causes strife, confusion, rather than the intention of death. Well, there's still some kinks I have to work out in terms of this theory I have in mind. Here's a list of things I'd use for less lethal stuff because lethal herbs are far easier to search up :

~ Baneberry - baneful Binding &

vengeance

~ Henbane - for cursing

~ Jimsonweed - flare up mental illness

~ Moonflower Vine - baneful binding

~ Alcohol - confusion & nausea

~ Ants - poison & burning sensation

~ Apple of Peru - reverses wealth &

abundance

~ Ash - suffocation

~ Asphalt - trapping eternally

~ Belladonna Root - baneful binding

~ Belladonna other parts - curse & hex

~ Boneset - cursing

~ Sweetflag & Rue - cause discomfort

(itching, diarrhea, coughing fits,

sneezing fits, toe stubbing,

tripping, muscle cramps, heartburn

etc. when someone doesn't do what you

want them to)

• A bowl or a box, anything to keep these herbs in for a very long time. I'd suggest some kind of box rather than a bowl, and plus it's gotta be big enough to fit a diary.

• A blank journal. This is going to be your Black List.

• Quartz, most of all but also potentially some of these rocks, too ~

• Something to write a petition with (paper, bay leaves, etc.)

Okay, so here's the plan:

I'm thinking we enchant a journal so that whoever's name you wrote in it, they experience misfortune and what not. You can write what you want to happen to them and stuff and do a little bit of scrapbooking with DNA, photographs, a cut out of their handwriting, etc.

1.) Put herbs in box. No need to cleanse anything because you want that nasty stuff. Mix them around with your bare fingers, focus your magical stuff through your fingertips and infusing your herbs with intention.

2.) Throw in some quartz to amplify everything and also whatever other crystals you want to use.

Here are some good crystals to use :

~ Agate - turn enemies against

themselves to cause confusion

~ Amber - freeze progress

~ Amethyst - cause sensitivity &

self-destruction

~ Antimony - literally destroy

someone's finances, goals, intuition,

and peace of mind

3.) Write your petition. Be super duper specific-- I'd say something like, "Make it so whoever's name and information I write into my journal will experience the misfortune I desire upon them without causing harm to me or those I love, or anyone I did not intend for this spell to hit."

4.) You can burn it and mix the ashes in, roll it up and tie it with a pretty bow, do whatever you want with your petition as long as it helps infuse everything with your exact intentions. It's your road map.

5.) You can use sigils and stuff to write everywhere, put on petitions, and it's best you put it on the journal. Do whatever feels right.

6.) Keep your journal in there to marinate in that malevolent energy for a long while. I have a feeling that if you wrote someone's information down before letting the journal marinate, it will probably still work. It's like a petition book for jinxing. It's not going to be as effective as a curse jar I don't think, but I'd say this is moreso for jinxing than full on cursing. Well, that's at least my intent. You can probably tweak this enchantment to annihilate a bloke somewhere.

dead crickets (crickets are often loud in life and disturb sleep, dead crickets to send auditory hallucinations.)

gone bad lavender (bad dreams, nightmares, issues falling/staying asleep.)

dragons blood incense/smoke (chaos, destruction, sometimes physical illness.)

cigarette butts (i like to imagine the smoke getting stuck in their lungs, physical illness.)

dead wasps/wasp nest (getting someone where it hurts, unexpected loss and or pain.)

rotten chili pepper (regular chili pepper works too, but i find that rotten gives the victim an extra "kick" )

vinegar/a sour wine (sending their sour/bitter energy back at them.)

mistletoe (loneliness, BUTTTT can be used for one hell of a forced love spell on someone you hate- make someone they hate OBSESSED with them.)

broken glass (breaking them down, causing pain.)

animal bones (extreme illness, physical harm.)

cemetery dirt (bonus points if its from a graveyard an ancestor is buried in.. ancestors can be SO helpful.)

blood (obviously be careful, blood magick is definitely not beginner friendly, but this can send the jinx/curse/hex, whatever after their bloodline.)

razor blades (pain, difficulty.)

broken egg shells (break them down yourself, put all your aggression into it, imagine you're destroying their trust, i use this for paranoia.)

a picture of your victim, a piece of paper with their name/birthday (bonus points for hometown.)

thorns (trouble in romance, arguing.)

tiger lily (sickness, confusion, lethargy.)

a JINX is an inconvenience.

a HEX is bad luck/illnesss.

a CURSE is direct harm.

Siphon Spell

This spell was inspired greatly by fantasy media; I've never seen anything like it, which did make researching it pretty hard!

This is derived from two sources: a hex candle and a cord-cutting spell. Our goal is to take something from someone, possibly severing ourselves from them in the process.

I'm not getting into ethics here: this is a baneful spell. We are taking something that someone may hold dear to themselves. I'm not going to tell you the target has to deserve it. I'm not telling you things will come back at you threefold. Your own UPG tells you your own limits on baneful workings.

Fire safety is going to be a must here. This is a lot of fire, and you will need something to put out said fire at a moment's notice. Keep a damp cloth, a fire extinguisher, or a second tray at arm's length to smother the spell.

Ingredients:

Two Candles: Black for your target, and a color for you. This color should match the intention of what you're hoping to gain from your target: peace, creativity, abundance, prospects, joy, you name it.

Oils: At the very least, you'll need a neutral oil to dress your candle (olive, coconut), but you can also use something like a road opening oil, money oil, happiness oil, etc. You can even dress your neutral oil with essential oils (do your research to make sure they aren't toxic when burnt. Seriously. Some of these are bad for you.)

Herbs/Powders: For my target's candle, I used some baneful "herbs": Crushed red pepper, black pepper, and licorice root. Bitey, harsh, aggressive, and even some domination from the licorice. This is just what I had on hand. Rue, wormwood, and willow bark may also serve you well. Your candle should be dressed with herbs that match the intention that you're wishing to pull.

Twine: We'll be creating a line between our target and ourselves, letting their flame flow to us. Your twine should be safe to burn, no plastic or polyester.

A Heat/Fire Safe Tray: Deadass just a baking sheet works. Unless you're regularly doing candle spells, don't go out and buy an altar plate.

Optionals: Crystals, salt, herbs, dried fruits, anything to add to your tray to add to the spell. This will work without any of these, but amplifying and enhancing can only help.

An Incantation: Create your own incantation of your intention. There are a lot of different schools of thought on this, but it definitely doesn't have to rhyme, and many recommend you speak of what you want as if it has already happened. Be specific.

Assembly:

Cleanse Everything: This is a given.

Dress your candles: Draw a sigil of your choice, then, using your chosen oil, anoint the candle, and finally, dress the candle with your herbs and powders.

Tie the twine: Between the candles, tie the twine like you would a cord-cutting spell, with the main difference being that the cord on the target's candle needs to sit higher than on yours. Their side of the twine has to light first. You can choose to view the twine as a link between you and the target (burning it also severs your link), or you can choose to have the line merely be the vessel.

Dress your board: Add your candles, melting the bottoms and sticking them down if you need them to be more stable. Add any of your optional items.

The Ritual:

Prepare your spirit and your space: I'm a ceremonial magician, so I'd perform a banishing ritual and open a circle. Do you need to center? Cleanse? You know your practice.

Light the target's candle: With intention, light the candle. This is a good time to begin your incantation, focusing on what your target is losing.

Light your candle: Continue your incantation, focusing on what you gain. See point 4 for why, but consider if you want to use the target's candle to light yours. (Melted wax is hot, btw)

Feed your spell: Focus your energy and intention into the spell as it burns, especially as the twine catches and carries your candle. We want the other person's energy/peace/happiness/whatever to feed into us, so getting their flame to burn into our candle for as long as we can is the goal. I'm not telling you to literally manipulate the placement of the candles (though that's exactly what I did), I'm telling you to do what you need to feed your candle best, burning the target out as quickly as possible. (Sympathetic magic, my beloved).

Aftercare: You need to do what you need to do to take care of your spiritual self after a baneful working.

Disclaimers:

Make sure you're taking something you actually want. For example, I'm not sure I'd want to steal the passion from a MAGAt and put it into me, as it's incredibly icky passion. Without going into specifics, I used this spell as a direct 1:1. For example, say someone was really motivated in a job search, and I needed a job, I'd take their motivated energy to put into my own job search.

I have not written this spell in a super beginner-friendly way. You almost certainly need to have at least heard all of the words I mention in this post to really be ready to perform it. You can do this if you're a beginner, but you need to know what things like centering, sympathetic magic, and intention are.

I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.

Road opening spell:

This spell is used to help focus your energies.

- orange candle

- Rosemary

- Lavender

- Clove

- Cinnamon

- Basil

- Spearmint or olive oil

Step 1) Carve any symbols or sigils that you would like into the candle before dressing it.

Step 2) Dress the candle with the oil and herbs, substitute as needed or desire. (I use birthday candles because they don’t take long to burn all the way out and come in every color)

Step 3) focus you mind on a long straight road with no blocks and clear sky’s (some may prefer to focus on a lazy river instead of a road, whatever your mind can more easily conjure, just be sure you do not include twist, turns or rapids or rocks, just smooth flow)

light the dressed candle and repeat out loud or to yourself:

“My way is clear and easily tread

I may travel without care

I find opportunities ahead

And abundance everywhere”

Repeat as many times as you feel you need to.

You should be basically meditating on your open clear path, calm, collected and confident in your success.

Step 4) Once you feel you are done allow the candle to burn all the way out and you’re done.

Pine protection - Winter/yule theme

Supplies:

Pine needles

Sea salt 

Black pepper

Any type of oil/preferably coconut oil

Moon water or regular water 

A pinch of ashes(optional)

Quartz or any other crystal that you believe will help. Please check to see if your crystal works well with water!

Note: The water to oil ratio should be around 3:1 or 4:1, too much water will result in an obvious separation.

Steps: 

Bring a small amount of water to a boil and then add pine needles. Allow this to sit for ten minutes or more.

In a separate container mix together your oil, sea salt, ashes, and pepper

Slowly add the mixture to your pine needles and water and stir. 

Once everything is mixed together add your crystal.

Let this stand for a couple of minutes before removing the crystal and setting it aside.

Quickly pour your protection oil/balm into your chosen containers and allow it to cool.

Pray over your balm/oil and use it as you wish !

*Note: I used a cauldron of sorts so I sadly can’t tell you what level to set the fire at, and I also eyeballed all of the ingredients since I’ve done this before.

Witch craft 101: Making throwing bones.

Alright alright alright my witches!! Todays post is a basic way to make throwing bones for a rune set!! Fair warning this does take a couple days so ya gotta have patience.

Okay first thing ya wanna do is get yo self some bones (I used chicken bones) , a spoon to scoop them out and a pot of water!!

Then next yer gonna set that shit on high and wait for it to boil. And once it starts boiling your gonna put all of your bones that you collected into the pot and let them boil for an hour or so. This helps loosen the remaining meat as well as get rid of lingering bacteria.

Next after there done boiling your going to take them out and your going to gently scrape the rest of the remaining meat of the bones. It usually helps to get the majority of the meat off beforehand though.

Once you've removed the rest of the meat your going to soak them in a bowl with warm water and Dawn soap. The Dawn soap acts as a degreasing agent so that it removes the rest of the grease. And your going to soak them over night.

After you've soaked them over night your going to rinse off the bones and pat them dry and then you going to get a huge ass bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Pour just enough to cover the bones. Your going to soak the bones for several hours to achieve the shade of white you want them to look like.

After your done soaking the bones your going to rinse them off and let them dry for about 2 days. Once they're completely dry you can design them using whatever you'd like ( I used sharpie) and you can seal them using a Matte or Gloss varnish.
