Happy belated birthday (by 2 days) to me

#i was so busy on the actual day i forgot #what's been happening in my life since i last posted ummm #i finally got my diploma in the mail in july and moved later that month #that's it #right now i'm sick again which happened last year around my birthday too which is annoying #unapersonal

#kinda feels like coming up for air after being trapped underwater for like a month and a half #but that's partially my fault for taking 6 classes LOL #i keep trying to get back into posting on here consistently but it's so hard for some reason #though even over on twitter i keep dipping in and out because of (everything mentioned above)#i would do a big catch up post like i did last year but all i've basically been doing the past few months is watching gundam #oh wait the delicious in dungeon anime is just as good as i was hoping #it's interesting watching it because i read most of the manga in like 2019 and even re-reading it last year #i don't remember a lot of it so i'm getting surprised #unapersonal

Finished watching these a few weeks ago and my review is that it was another fascinating and entrancing experience overall...also the art style is still so charming

#i think i liked the movies and the tv show equally minus some stuff here and there #i also watched the cucuruz doan movie and the origin ova #movie was decent besides random unfunny pervert jokes #origin ova on the other hand was like a 40/60 like to dislike ratio but it was interesting...mostly #unapersonal

Finally got to go to a doctor's appointment that got cancelled and rescheduled like 5 times (due to forces outside of my control) today

#scheduled it in september for late october and it got cancelled last minute literally 3 times #and then the specialist i needed left so i had to go to a way more inconvenient (by bus) location #but finally...i made it...#i have to go to this place every week starting in january which considering its location is annoying but i'll take it #unapersonal

Oh yeah I also got the newest COVID booster this week and I swear every time I get a different mysterious side effect

#this time being some swelling and redness around the injection site #but i did also get my hepatitis b shot that day too #so glad i didn't get the wicked headache i did last year when i got the booster in tandem with the flu shot lol #unapersonal

#it is really funny to me that i'm following almost the exact same trajectory i did with trigun last year #as in: watch enough to get interested in september -> get DVD in october from library -> and so on #this time i wasn't slowly losing it over my library system's glacial holds processing pace though #unapersonal

#charming show about 3 sisters who steal their dad's art and also the useless detective who tries finding them out #the art style between season 1 and 2 was almost enough to make me stop watching but the intrigue...#unapersonal

#unapersonal #i liked them a lot considering i don't really care for war-focused stories #the one complaint i have above any story or whatever problems is that they were relentless with flashing lights in the 80s 💀#when i go back to the library i'll probably check out the dvd sets they have of the tv series because while the movies were cohesive enough #they were definitely hauling ass on some plot points which was sometimes funny and sometimes ?????
