Things Optimus would do if you had a bad day

first things first he'd take you on a ride, something slow and scenic

he knows how it feels to need time where you can relax, but he also gets that its hard to relax even when you DO find the time

while on the ride he'll stay quiet in peace with you or he'll listen to you vent about whatever's troubling you

whether its a bad thing that happened just today, or something deeper, he'll listen regardless

i think with the way he is he will definitely gently push some advice your way

if the scenery is pulling you into sleep, the radio will flick on

you might be able to convince him to tell you a story or two though

about his comrades or cybertron

with deeper topics that trouble you, or more serious ones, he may bring you somewhere quiet to just sit with you so he can see you face to face

he's a huge safe space

the ambience is extremely calming; rumbling engines and slight wind if the window is cracked

the temperature is always perfect inside too

another thing i think optimus would do is listen to any hobbies or topics your interested in talking about

sometimes a distraction from the stress is best

if you make artwork, write, etc. he'll love to see that

or if you researched something, have a fixation, and so on

he definitely won't panic if you had a really hard time and end up breaking down or crying

yes even if you have speech problems- even if they may poke fun at stuttering or mis-sayings, they never truly mean it. they're always ready to do a little bit of translation to better understand you. what you have to say is important to them! you rambling for too long isn't even a concept in their mind, they'll never get enough of you.

yes even if it takes you time to understand things. they aren't in this for some quick dip-n-go, they're with you for the long-run. they're more than happy to sit and let you gather your thoughts and process things, they're in no rush. even if they might be more fast-paced, they want you to have some peace of mind and not constantly play catch-up with them (well, more than you might on a usual basis, at least).

yes even if you have issues with motor skills. they're not going to judge you or poke fun at you for your physical control over your body- what would it benefit them? you're a pair, tearing one half of themself down would do nothing. even then, why would they care? they knew what they were signing up for getting to know you and they're not going to act stupid and run off. again, they've got more than enough time for you, they're not looking to rush through your time together anyhow.

Am I Biased by Immediately saying Optimus? (Yeah probably but it's true) Because Optimus is very very overcome with his affections for you quite often and he needs a proper outlet to let you know how much you mean to him. Usually ends up with his servos on you when you're alone together at the end of a cycle.

Hound's a romantic and he likes fantasizing about domesticity with you often. Could be in one of your berths or out on a grassy hill when you're out star gazing together but he will always be delighted when you agree or even initiate first. He really does adore you and he loves holding you while he still fantasizes about other domestic futures you could have.

Okay hear me out but- Mirage. Now yes, rich boy pomp and circumstance Mirage. You his S/o also having been stranded on this alien planet is one of his few solaces that he is forever thankful for. He's doing the s/o equivalent of coming home from a hard day of work and shoving your face into your pets body to grumble nearly daily.

Another guilty of the same behavior is no other than Rodimus. He is so so fragging exhausted all the time. He's busier than Mirage though so it'll more often manifest in you coming to wherever he's working and him dragging you aside so he can cling onto you and rest his forehelm against your armor and vent for a bit.

Beachcomber is another i'd see easily especially considering his common vices. Have you ever hung out with someone using weed and they just get sappy and affectionate because of how relaxed they are? Okay same thing with Beachcomber, he needs a way to put all his positive energy into something good. (Hint: it's you)

Also Elita? yeah Elita. Like Optimus it's usually after an end of a long cycle and when you have a quiet moments time alone together she will be doing the exact same. Her servos finding your frame and she usually verbally talks through her day with you while just taking in her down time with you. She usually takes the time to count her blessings as well.

Breakdown is guilty of loving it but it's as soon as you force it onto him when he won't stop pacing and jittering. Calming down so quickly it actually surprises you both. Congrats you are now his weighted blanket and you can forcibly drag him underneath you if you think he needs to calm down. If you happen to be bigger than him, even better he wants you to crush him. (Light-! Lighty!)

On that note you can also throw rest of The Stunticons on here because like everything with a gestalt it'll get around to the rest of them eventually. And then they'll want their own time with you too. But good primus the fighting that will occur once they all get into this. You'll need to set up a cuddle schedule at this rate.

Ironically enough Soundwave isn't exactly a typical cuddle initiator. Soundwave's cassettes however? they are cramming themselves between your limbs and you when they catch you on a berth and making their own space in yours. (Doesn't matter if its one of them or happens to be all of them at the time. This can also lead to fighting if you don't straighten them out for being dumb.)

Octane feels like an obvious pick to me. He's flirty and he's affectionate with his other allies and that's saying nothing how he is with his s/o. He also gets himself in trouble with his own schemes and attempts at charming so he'll also be usually bemoaning (Whining) about whatever mistreatment he put up with today.

Scavenger just. Scavenger. He's needy and he will suck up any affection you give him like a sponge. Cuddling is no different, if you say you're fine with cuddles than he's getting into your business whenever he sees you even just sitting down where he can fit. He is going there. If you can handle his weight he will climb into your lap when your sitting somewhere.

Yes. The means the rest of The Constructicons are going to end up finding this behavior in themselves because Scavenger is needy. (They're so so mad at him). They're less suffocating then Scavenger about this however, will only do it when they have some privacy with you. And will even pull Scavenger off of you sometimes too.

Dirge? yeah Dirge would be another one guilty of curling up against you if you give him the free permission to do so when you're alone. He's a bit like Hound in a way how he usually fantasizes about a quieter easier more domestic life with you during too. He will do it more on particularly bad days for him but he won't complain only hold you a bit tighter.
