I live for how a deity can be eons and eons old, and yet they’re still not immune to a human seeing them and wanting to just

Prayer to Aphrodite Aeria for courage and emotional strength to love freely
O Aphrodite Areia, mighty in love and war, Goddess who blurs the lines of battle and amour, I call upon your power, fierce and fair, To grant me courage in the face of despair.
In the arena of heart, where doubts assail, Bestow upon me strength that shall never fail. May the rose of valor bloom within my chest, And in the crucible of trials, may I find rest.
With your guidance, let my heart be bold, Not swayed by fear, nor seeking to withhold. Transform my trepidation into fearless might, As I navigate through shadows to reach the light.
In love's complex wars, where emotions sway, Lend me your fortitude to face the fray. Aphrodite Areia, in your sacred name, I seek the courage to love without shame.
Grace me with resilience, come what may, An unyielding force in both work and play. Through tempests of sorrow, through torrents of tears, May your presence soothe and calm my fears.
With the golden apple’s promise and the dove's gentle peace, Let my soul's armor be forged, my inner strength increase. For in your divine essence, both tender and fierce, I find the emotional vigor and the courage I beseech.

Be brave.
Have courage and don’t lost faith.
Don’t cower, I am here by your side.
I am here to protect and assist those who call to me. Those who praise and call my name. I aid those who need me.
You are one out of millions, one of many generations. Yet that doesn’t mean you’re unworthy. Unworthy of my care, assistance, or listening ear. Of my gratitude, happiness, or even scolding. I am here because you call to me in a time of distress or a time of joy.
I may not be next to you all the time yet look for me in the world. In the way the earth breathes under your feet and the animals call a harmonious chorus. In friend or stranger, lover or pet, see me. For I am always with you.
So, simply be brave.
Isn't it actually so beautiful that deities take the time to try and guide and teach us? How wonderful is it that they care for us so deeply that they'd share their wisdom, knowledge, and insight so freely? I think a deity's love is something to be cherished, and I cherish this. 🧡✨
Praise be,you lovely lady!
Praise be,oh,beautiful lady!
You,who reign over the domain of beauty and love,
Please hear my prayers,oh gracious lady!
Please help me in understanding and recognising these emotions.
Oh,sweet, wonderful mother of desire and love

Thank you,eternal lady!
Hail to you blessed One!
A prayer for Lady Aphrodite in coping with emotional blockage.
Reblog this if u a hellenic polytheist who LOVES trans/nonbinary folks and queer folks. Reblog this is u a hellenic polytheist or hellenic who believes in ending the gender binary and allowing people to identify as however the fuck they want to, and supporting them. Reblog this if ur a hellenic polytheist who believes our gods both draw strength from and ALSO transcend gender.
Reblog this if u understand or want to understand that just because western/white ideals of gender involve a binary, that this isn’t the only way of looking at gender that historically existed and STILL exists across cultures, and that to enforce one view over others is white supremacy and only feeds patriarchal oppression by reinforcing its ideals of binary and punishment of nonconformity
reblog this if ur a hellenic polytheist who says NO to crusty white cisheteropatriarchy– in which white cis men oppress all those who don’t identify as white heterosexual cisgender men.
reblog this if you realize that we have to work together.
for those who have been fighting this fight in the community long before i got here, I THANK YOU <3

Do you see this?
See her curves? Her cellulite?
Her tummy? Her soft jaw?
Her thighs? Her hips?
Her chest? Her arms?
Do you see her?
That’s the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite.
She has tummy rolls. She has full thighs. She has hip dips. She has a soft jaw. She has a curved nose. She has arm chub.
She is still beautiful.
It doesn’t matter what size you are, what color your skin is, what texture your hair is, what gender you identify as, what sex you were born with, how big or small your boobs are, how long your lashes are, how straight or crooked your teeth are, how hairy your body is, how many freckles or moles you have, how big or small your feet are- you are still beautiful.
Aphrodite has kissed everyone of us and carved our bodies to perfection. She’s placed beauty in all of our souls, and kindness in all of our hearts. Every curve, every mark, every bump, every roll is blessed. We are all unique and still stunning. Flowers aren’t all the same, are they? Shells? Pearls? Constellations?
Our bodies are beautiful. Our bodies are great. You are beautiful. You are great. You are worthy of love. You are blessed by the goddess of beauty herself. Never forget that.
Remember to do something nice for yourself. You are a powerful individual and you deserve to take up space and live life joyously.
Khaîre Aphrodite!
